- Since the Shishapangma/Xixabangma name discussion has begun, I occasionally (and sometimes frequently:) look at the involved editors' talk pages. Lately I’ve been trying to think more, listen more, and write less, but I felt the need to say something here. Rather than making unsubstantiated accusations, polite or otherwise, please provide evidence that Pseudois is modifying other editors’ comments. I have been involved in the naming discussion since the beginning and I have seen no such evidence (it is of course possible that I have missed something). Although Pseudois does sometimes answer long passages point by point immediately after the paragraph in which the point is made, this is a very different thing. Also, given the quality of Pseudois’ (and Yu Hai’s) contributions to the Xixabangma naming discussion, I find Yu Hai’s messages for beginning Wikipedians both condescending and undeserved.--

made my comment broken in display (ok, I admit that when I use the template it says "refactoring" others' comment but now/after subst it becomes "editing", which makes it a bit confusing), and I don't think I made any accuse to him by simply 2 notifications, which are all level-1. Now things are fine: he understood how to use "::#:" syntax and {{
Interrupted}} template in order not to make the inserted text confusing. ––

Have you seen the bad typeset used in this article? Have you noticed the article must be wikified?? Or do you engage revering without thinking??? Plus, with the original Tibetan text given, Wylie become duplicate. Also, The article gave wrong Wylie transliteration, which may cause errors. –– 虞海 (Yú Hǎi) ✍ 16:01, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- Indeed, I noticed both the bad typeset of the previous version, as well as your edits which have caused the unexplained removal of information and the modification of gompa to goinpa (which I see you have again reverted). Don't you remember that your gompa to goinba unilateral move has required the intervention of an administrator to restore the orginal version. With a choice between your unexplained deletion/modification and a bad formatting, I preferred the latter one.

You're conveniently forgetting the fact that the page now called "South Tibet dispute" was previously called South Tibet until RegentsPark moved it without seeking consensus. I was only trying to undo the damage he did. But I don't want to be involved in an edit war, so I'm not going to revert your edit before the current move request reaches a conclusion. - My only interest on this page is to safeguard the Encyclopaedic nature of Wikipedia. All previous versions do not satisfy this requirement. I have reverted your edits as I had the feeling that you were starting an edit war and had personal issues with RegentsPark. I never edited any article in the past related to this topic, and never had any interaction neither with you nor with Regentspark, so I thought I could attempt a kind a mediation with my propoal of creating a disambiguation page for this topic. - PS. If I restablished RegentsPark version of "South Tibet", it is because your redirect does not correspond to the current content of "South Tibet dispute". We have many articles in WP with links to "South Tibet", and these internal links do not aim to refer to the political dispute but to a geographic area. I hope my explanation was good enough for you to understand why I removed the del notice. Redirects are such tiny fractions of the storage we use on Wiki, they are best used rather than not. If anyone was to search for something, a redirect is the best way to get them to the right place quickly.
For example, try typing this into the search box: Stevie Ray Vaughn - As you can see that is a common misspelling of his surname.

Firstly I am a little confused as to why you reverted my largely cleanup edits to Tibetan sovereignty debate - if you have an issue with my changes you should bring them up on the talk page and/or manage to be a little more careful about which parts you revert - most of my changes were cleanup.
Secondly I am a little confused about South Tibet dispute - after coming from the edit at Tibetan sovereignty debate I reverted your change, upon reflection looks reasonable enough, but I am very confused as to why it wasn't enacted three months ago, is there some context I am missing, or was it just a screw up?

- 1. Your edits I reverted at [1] were not "mostly cleanup", but were a strong personal POV pushing from your side not reflected by any consensus on the talk page.
- 2. My reversion wasn't a blind revert. I carefully read all arguments exposed on the talk page, and couldn't find relevant well-sourced references supporting your edits. To the opposite, Wikimedes edits were well referenced and appeared relevant to the topic.
- 3. It would save time for all editors if you would use the talk page first before doing hasty reverts such as here, [2] and here. My edits on these three articles ( [3], here and here) had a clear summary with direct internal link provided to the talk page where the discussion took place.
- 4. Before accusing someone of "vandalism", "blind reversion" and "poor behaviour", I would suggest you to be a bit more careful, as such personal attacks do not belong to Wikipedia.
- 5. Wikipedia is not a battleground, it is an encyclopaedic project. I thank you for remaining civil in future discussions.--

I'm sorry, but I really don't think we can use it. The dates all looked to me to be in the 1940's - I checked the image pretty carefully. And therefore the copyright notice stating it was in the public domain was incorrect.

Hi, and thank you for
your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "
cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the
page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen.
