Hi Professor Penguino! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Aaron Maté several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Aaron Maté, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Kleinpecan ( talk) 01:14, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I'm EchidnaLives. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. echidnaLives ( talk) 01:17, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
Hello, Professor Penguino, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Belt and Road Initiative did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that the page you created, Template:008000, was tagged as a test page under section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion and has been or soon may be deleted. Hello, and thanks for your contributions. Although I admire your enthusiasm, please don't edit articles just to remove spaces from line ends or to turn double spaces into single ones. Double spacing is one valid way to separate sentences, and is the norm in some countries such as the UK. Changing the spacing has no effect on the displayed page, and simply clutters the edit history. Wikipedia has many more important errors to be fixed. Thanks again, Certes ( talk) 09:18, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
Hey, thanks for noticing the issue on the Bolivia article. You're right, Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents is the wrong place to post about that (usually). A more appropriate forum is WP:TEAHOUSE, where there's almost always someone willing to help. However, a nifty trick to help fix the issue yourself is to enable Twinkle. Twinkle actually has a function that allows you to find a stable prior version of an article and restore that version in a single click (as I did on Bolivia). Again, thanks for noticing the issue and don't feel like you did something wrong by posting to ANI; just the wrong spot! ~ Pbritti ( talk) 00:33, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
hi, on what basis did you re-revert my edit of Gubble just now? I replaced an incorrect developer credit for the PlayStation version (crediting the US publisher of the game as the developer) with one referenced to GDRI which is a well-regarded source among game historians, had it reverted by a bot in what appeared to be a false positive, and as per the message left by the bot on my talk page, I reported the false positive and redid the edit only to find it reverted again by you with no explanation 81.101.170.185 ( talk) 21:06, 19 December 2022 (UTC)

You recently added this image to the Jayne Mansfield article. Please be aware that per WP:NFCC #10c, every use of a non-free image such as this one must have a valid rationale. Also be aware that per WP:NFC#UUI #6, the use of a non-free image outside of a dedicated article about that image is generally not permitted. This image has a dedicated article at Jayne Mansfield–Sophia Loren photo and thus no valid rationale can be created for its use on the Jayne Mansfield article. Have you considered WP:PRIMARYTOPIC? Generally, when replacing a primary article with a disambiguation page, you should discuss this on the primary's talk page, first. That would involve discussing whether any article in the disambiguation alternatives even approaches the use count of the primary, and whether there was any potential for confusion. Tarl N. Nobody ( talk) 08:01, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in The War of the Worlds, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Hi Professor Penguino. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. Please check back at
the permissions page in case your user right is time-limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as
patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the
New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at
New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the
deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the
new page reviewer talk page or ask via the
NPP Discord. In addition, please remember:
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. If you can read any languages other than English, please add yourself to the list of new page reviewers with language proficiencies. — Ingenuity ( talk • contribs) 16:45, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
Hello, Professor Penguino. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, " 1777 in Russia".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia
mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Banderite. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. In addition, I don't think that your way of communicating on the talk page and via edit summaries matches WP's collaborative spirit. You have recently edited a page related to Eastern Europe or the Balkans, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{ Ctopics/aware}} template.

Hello Professor Penguino,
Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.
Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.
Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.
It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!
