Hi, thanks so much for your attention to this. Obviously the photo was identified as Lawrence where I found it, but that means little. I've been examining pictures of them both for the last half hour and seems like that "presentation" was very popular, the long locks and the lighting. I'm really not certain. Just out of curiosity, are you absolutely sure the Charles Eyton in movies was the same guy as the wrestler/boxer? I couldn't seem to find anything that had both parts in the same place so I was uncertain.

Thanks for inspiring me get started on the Eyton edits. I still have more to add, but I only want to do a bit each day, in case someone disagrees. I also found a bunch of stuff which is not worth of inclusion here, but which is still interesting.

The LA Times obit mentions "Eyton also gained something of a reputation for himself as a boxer and a wrestler and his knowledge of these sports helped him as a referee. The late Tom McCarey, one of the best known fight promoters, paid Eyton $500 per show for his services in the ring." And some of the early wrestling clippings mention his middle initial; it's definitely the same person.
