I noticed you have edited a lot of Maryland-related articles, including several in Baltimore. I live in Baltimore, but I rarely get to travel to parts of the city other than the northwest. You really shouldn't mess up your user page like that; that should be all about you. I have created a sandbox for you to work on a project prior to completion, at which point the information can be moved to the final article page and your working version erased. Thanks a lot. When I was reading the "new article wizard" thing, it said to test your article in your user page. I'm going to assume I misread it. I'll get right to cleaning up my page. I do have a question, though-- the U.S. Route 13 in North Carolina page redirects to US 13. I'm not sure if you wrote the route descriptions for U.S. Route 250 in Ohio et al, or just copied them out of the main US 250 articles, but they are pretty decent and detailed, which is commendable. The only problem is that they are written from east to west, but our standard dictates that they should be written west to east (to follow the highway's mileposts). Could you perhaps invest the time needed to correct this? My intent was to take those articles' route descriptions out of the main articles (they were a bit long) and move them to their own articles. This is questionable already, especially among the main US Roads project. Related routes usually only applies to suffixes or prefix designations like US 180 having links to 280 and 380. The fact that your designation is a former alignment of MD 413 means it belongs in the history, not the related routes since that's where former routes are covered. Put the related route in the history, no infobox or anything, just describe the former alignment thing in prose. That's where it belongs. I think personally this system is wrong as most MD routes being used are not actual designated spurs, most just start at a regular intersection and intersect with said "parent".Mitch32^{( Growing up with Wikipedia 1 edit at a time.)} 22:56, 21 April 2010 (UTC) reply

I didn't like the idea that they put forth for this, myself, and for the very same reasons you mentioned, but I figured everyone'd reached a consensus in that department. I noticed you listed yourself as a participant of the Energy WikiProject.

There are 2 new outlines in this area that attempt to consolidate Wikipedia's coverage of their respective subjects, gathering and organizing the articles about them into one place and including descriptions for convenience. The purposes of these outlines are to make it easier for readers to survey or review a whole subject, and to choose from Wikipedia's many articles about it.

The new energy outlines are:

• Outline of solar energy
• Outline of wind energy

Please take a look at them, and....

if you spot missing topics, add them in.

if you can, improve the descriptions.

add missing descriptions.

show parent-offspring relationships (with indents).

fix errors.

For more information about the format and functions of outlines, see Wikipedia:Outlines.

Building outlines of existing material (such as Wikipedia) is called " reverse outlining". Reverse outlines are useful as a revision tool, for identifying gaps in coverage and for spotting poor structuring.

Revising a work with multiple articles (such as Wikipedia) is a little different than revising a paper. But the general principles are the same...

As you develop these outlines, you may notice things about the articles they organize. Like what topics are not adequately covered, better ways to structure and present the material, awkward titles, articles that need splitting, article sections lacking {{ Main}} links, etc.

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
