Hi Nkon, trust you are well. If it suits you, I could work on the article with you and bring it to FA status. It's one of the K-pop songs I hold dear so.. Let me know! Ippantekina ( talk) 04:18, 18 October 2023 (UTC)

That would be great! Thanks a lot. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 00:32, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
@ Ippantekina One of the main feedbacks that I received from the recently closed FAC was that there are issues with the prose. Would you mind helping me fix the prose issues when you have the time? Thanks, ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 23:22, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
Yes, I did note the comments in the first FAC. The prose definitely requires some refinements... I'm on it. Btw, I made a few first edits to the lead, you can see what I did and feel free to question anything that doesn't ring with you. Ippantekina ( talk) 05:19, 20 October 2023 (UTC)

Aespa's Karina

I would like to know why you removed the reference to Karina do Aespa's birthplace? As far as I know, Marie Claire magazine is one of the most respected magazines in the world and is a very reliable source. So why do you see the reference I put there? Because due to your unfortunate action, another editor reversed what took me a long time to research. I hope you're happy, because of what you did, I'm giving up editing on Wikipedia... 2804:14C:5B41:84B6:C40A:D359:EC5E:91FD ( talk) 06:15, 19 December 2023 (UTC)

I did not delete the reference; if the reference is already in the article body than it doesn't need to be in the infobox. As far as I'm aware, another editor removed "Suwon" from her birthplace due to "conflicting sources", therefore it has nothing to do with my edit. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 09:14, 19 December 2023 (UTC)

Gdragon picture

sorry but are you specifically taking my photo down? The source for the photo I used is also the source for the current photo used on his Wikipedia. For some reason it wouldn’t allow me to use the same source, so I found another link with the same photo. Multiple sources have used the same picture. So I am confused on why my photo is being copyrighted but not the current one? if there is an issue then I will gladly find another photo use. David Soyer ( talk) 07:25, 27 December 2023 (UTC)

And I will also gladly appreciate it if you told me where you sent my picture to be checked for copyright so I can check before I upload again. David Soyer ( talk) 07:31, 27 December 2023 (UTC)

Hello. Regarding your addition of full tour dates to several of Namie Amuro's album articles, see MOS:ALBUM#Touring: "Do not list all dates here, instead mention the range of dates". I noticed this because you edited Uncontrolled (album) after me to add them. While you can note that it's an essay on style and not a formal guideline at this point, and perhaps the dates you added weren't that numerous, personally I've always felt that including a full list of tour dates detracts from the article's focus on the album anyway so I've removed full tour dates from several articles previously. Ss 112 18:30, 29 December 2023 (UTC)

That's not any sort of guideline as it mentions at the top of that page so there is no problem with keeping tour dates for a tour related section—especially, like you mentioned, if there isn't that many dates to begin with. Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Albums/Album_article_style_advice#Tour_sections? also indicates that the quote you added is generally in response to "excessive" tour tables that are either wholly unsourced, does not have coverage from secondary sources or only fanpages, and/or have large amounts of WP:OR, which is not what the ones I added are (though for Concentration 20, I can't find any secondary sources covering attendance numbers at the moment).
In addition, I was completely unaware you edited any of Amuro's pages as I seldom check page histories before I edit and me editing after you is literally out of coincidence, so just don't get the wrong idea. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 21:30, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
Just to clarify what I meant: I don't regularly edit Amuro's articles. My saying that you editing after me was only meant to mean how I then saw you were adding tour dates was because I looked at my recent contributions and saw I was no longer the current edit and wondered why.
The part about touring has been on MOS:ALBUM since its earliest version [1]—that later discussion just seems to be seeking clarification. I'm simply opening this thread to let you know exhaustive or even full tour dates are considered outside the scope of album articles as I didn't know how far you had gone with these additions in the past. While I understand having reservations about the style guide, as there are more recent additions to it that I think didn't quite get as much vetting before being added, you and basically all music editors follows its conventions even if you've never cited it. It's (one of) the origin(s) for how personnel sections are formatted the way they are ( MOS:ALBUM#Personnel), e.g. name – role (track), and many more such conventions related to album sections and markup. Personally I don't like picking and choosing which parts of a style guide (that have existed from its earliest iteration) to follow if I already follow other parts, but I don't have a vested interest in it (the topic area/what you're doing with tour dates), I'm just veering on the side of caution by removing them for now.
From what I saw on these articles when I looked to see where you added them to, I don't think the sourcing was the best. Just consider, as they haven't been present before now, whether readers are really benefitting from having a list of 10–20 tour dates on the parent album's article if you recognise the tours are not notable enough to have their own separate article in the first place. That's not me saying that to continue having an argument, I just mean going forward to consider it. As I said, I don't have a vested interest. As other editors say, happy editing as that's all I really have to suggest. Ss 112 23:39, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
For Amuro's earlier releases, sourcing is much harder to come by and I honestly don't care enough to restore them back right now. Perhaps the tour on her Uncontrolled album could be split as 1) there are are secondary sources available and 2) the DVD received a certification in Japan. It's not very helpful for readers to simply mention some details of the tour but concert dates and attendance figures are missing. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 04:30, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
Maybe not, but that's what the style guide recommends. Btw, I only kept the attendance figures in prose that were sourced. I personally never care about tour dates, even for artists I like, because I feel what reaction can one have other than "oh cool". Discussions about "this artist's fans might want to know this so what's here/what's not is/is not helpful" is just not something I ever care that much about. Ss 112 05:08, 30 December 2023 (UTC)

Hello

Hey there! Thanks for informing me about the neutral POV rule. I fail to see how my edit was in violation of that rule but I assume you must have your reasons. Good day! XXI George ( talk) 06:46, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi. When you change images, please don't forget to update the captions and alt descriptions to follow the new ones. Please also don't remove section ID anchors, as they're there to prevent breakage of incoming links. Thanks. -- Paul_012 ( talk) 08:29, 6 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi. Will you be able to take care of this? -- Paul_012 ( talk) 18:40, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
My apologies, I seemed to have accidentally removed the ID anchor without me being aware. I have updated the alt texts accordingly. Thank you for your message. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 10:05, 8 January 2024 (UTC)

Date format

Please do not change date formats on articles without establishing prior consensus, especially when all of the artist's other articles (and their main article) use the date format you changed from. You might be aware South Korea uses neither MDY nor DMY (and nor does China if that's a factor, per date formats by country), so there's no preference for Korean topics on Wikipedia one way or the other as far as I'm aware (but it should also be noted South Korea uses MDY, and I'm sure you're aware most K-pop articles use MDY). MOS:DATEVAR applies as well. Ss 112 02:37, 23 January 2024 (UTC)

Montreal Image

Now someone else has changed the image for Montreal to their own image, and no one has raised an issue. Yet someone was edit warring with my image during the daytime. I think you should apply the same standard to the other user who changed the image rather than being a hypocrite.

Regarding Teresa Tang

I want to thank you for creating some articles for Teresa Teng’s albums. Before you make more pages though, I just want to tell you something: Polydor Records is not the same thing as PolyGram. Now, PolyGram is the parent company of Polydor Records, and I pretty sure there has been some musicians whose works has been released with PolyGram as its main label; it’s just that Teng was not one of them. Her works were specifically released through Polydor; in fact, you clearly see the Polydor logo on some of these album covers. Just wanted to let you know. Hello, Nkon21,

This article was part of an AFD that had a closure that this article was to be draftified. So, it should have been submitted to AFC before being moved back to main space. Are you an AFC reviewer and has this article received your approval? Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:33, 10 March 2024 (UTC)

Hi there, yes I am an AFC reviewer and I believe that the article is now notable, as the name of their debut record and single were revealed yesterday. Also, articles such as this and this talk about the group beyond run of the mill coverage, so that's why I feel that the group is notable for mainspace. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 06:04, 10 March 2024 (UTC)

Hi, I saw you reverted my changes for the Changi Airport Logo. Despite the logo saying "Changi Airport Group", it is still the right logo for the airport. this can easily be verified at https://www.changiairport.com/. Would appreciate it if the current logo (aka the right one) stays, so as to not provide misinformation, thanks! sincerely, a changi airport staff 202.55.83.233 ( talk) 07:27, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
