Huhorihe2; An image being out of date isn't a good enough reason for replacing the image. Both show the same subject and both are 95% similar. Infact yours show more of the ceiling than it does the interior! Night fury 10:44, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

Guideline and policy news

• Community sanctions now authorize administrators to place under indefinite semiprotection any article on a beauty pageant, or biography of a person known as a beauty pageant contestant, which has been edited by a sockpuppet account or logged-out sockpuppet, to be logged at WP:GS/PAGEANT.

Technical news

• Sysops will once again be able to view the deleted history of JS/CSS pages; this was restricted to interface administrators when that group was introduced.
• Twinkle's block module now includes the ability to note the specific case when applying a discretionary sanctions block and/or template.
• Sysops will be able to use Special:CreateLocalAccount to create a local account for a global user that is prevented from auto-creation locally (such as by a filter or range block). Administrators that are not sure if such a creation is appropriate should contact a checkuser.

Arbitration

• The 2020 Arbitration Committee Elections process has begun. Eligible editors will be able to nominate themselves as candidates from November 8 through November 17. The voting period will run from November 23 through December 6.
• The Anti-harassment RfC has concluded with a summary of the feedback provided.

Miscellaneous

• A reminder that standard discretionary sanctions are authorized for all edits about, and all pages related to post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. ( American Politics 2 Arbitration case).

Quattro XDRIVE 4MATIC; I suggest you take this information in before you accuse someone of harassment, as said elsewhere Wikipedia has a stringent set of rules on copyright, so you cannot just upload any old image from Google (especially to Wikipedia) and label them as your own. See WP:COPYVIO. Secondly, ideally you should be using WP:COMMONS for images, not directly upload them to the English Wikipedia. Thirdly, I will send you a brief summary on adding citations to your additions to Wikipedia. Most of what you are adding currently we cannot use here as they lack the necessary verifiability and as such can be removed by anyone. Whilst I'm not particularly biting a newcomer, consider attempting to expand your knowledge elsewhere while contributing to railway related articles, by reverting vandalism, as an example. Quattro can't upload images to Commons because they have been blocked for "Uploading unfree files after warnings". I don't like File:British Rail Class 125 cab.jpg - it seems to be watermarked (capital letters horizontally across the middle), but I can't work out what the watermark is. The file has now been deleted from Wikipedia, but I still managed to identify the watermark, it is RAILCAR.co.uk and the image concerned is a straight rip of https://railcar.co.uk/images/uploads/125/200/class-125-dmu-1575862832-200.jpg which is displayed at https://railcar.co.uk/type/class-125/works-photographs - clicking the image on that page leads to a larger version. From that same website I have determined that File:British Rail Class 125 awaiting scrapping.jpg, also uploaded by Quattro, is another copyvio. -- Redrose64 🌹 ( talk) 21:01, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
