"Railroads of Hawaii, Inc." is the company that operates the LK&P. You have a good point, though; I'll disambiguate. -- NE2 12:47, 12 December 2008 (UTC) reply

Buses in Hawaii

Maui Bus

I've got the logo ready to upload, but I can't do that until you post the article you have in preparation. There are also some images of buses in Commons. Fares are generally not considered to be encyclopedic and a note similar to what they have on their homepage would be sufficient.

The fare on most regular routes is $1.00, with free travel on Kahului Loop, Wailuku Loop and Lahaina Villager. Monthly passes are also available with a reduced rate for students and seniors.

You should definitely post the article about the the Maui Bus, even if you have to remove some info that's non-encyclopedic first. It seems like a notable transport agency in a very popular U.S. county. 67.53.48.2 ( talk) 02:16, 7 July 2009 (UTC) reply

Roberts Hawaii transportation

Do you think the correct title should be " Roberts Hawaii"? I notice you recently created a redirect which blocks me from moving it to that name. If you request a speedy delete of that redirect by user (you), we can then change this.

TheBus

I moved this to TheBus (Honolulu) to disambiguate from all the other bus companies using the same name.
Thank you.- Secondarywaltz ( talk) 18:48, 14 January 2009 (UTC) reply

I've requested a speedy delete for Roberts Hawaii to allow the move. Regarding the Maui Bus article, I was planning on doing more research over the next few weeks to fill it out before posting it, but if you'd like to get it into the article space already, go ahead and copy whatever I have so you can start the article. No hurry. Aquiring logos for bus infoboxes is something I do, but an aticle is better when composed with some local knowledge. Here in Ontario it is very cold (-20°C), and perhaps I should come to Hawaii and ride the bus. - Secondarywaltz ( talk) 14:03, 15 January 2009 (UTC) reply

Not to worry, I have not forgotten about the article. It's just that I saw Duchess copy editing, and I didn't want to stumble over her edits, so I decided to wait for her to finish. I have finished going through the article. If you have any questions, or need any more assistance, just let me know. A word of caution: watch the parenthesis, which are usually not necessary, and keep the same tense throughout the article. This last one can be tough, I know, because this is still a current event.

Now if I could get to Hawaii to see the project, that would be an accomplishment! I'm on the mainland. :) Thank you for having me come on over to work on this one!!! - Pax85 ( talk) 06:26, 18 March 2009 (UTC) reply

Greetings fellow disambiguator! Remember back in February when we made history by clearing the board for the first time ever, for the monthly disambiguation contest? Let's do it again in May! I personally will be aiming to lead the board next month, but for anyone who thinks they can put in a better effort, I will give a $10 Amazon gift card to any editor who scores more disambiguation points in May. Also, I will be setting up a one-day contest later in the month, and will try to set up more prizes and other ways to make this a fun and productive month. HOLO card

Hey! Mahalo for creating the article for HOLO card and all your other related edits. :) Yay for transit! I have an .svg of the HOLO logo I'd be able to upload if you think it should be included in the infobox on the page, as some other similar articles do, e.g. the one for LA's TAP card. It'd be good to keep the photo of the actual card somewhere in the article, too, though. Let me know any thoughts you might have about this or other changes.
