Thanks

Thanks for the fix to Andrea Stoica. I don't know who put in the duplicate line, but it was a fortunate accident that I forgot to dewikilink both instances of the redlink, allowing you to catch it. davidwr/( talk)/( contribs) 15:21, 6 March 2020 (UTC) reply

A barnstar for you!

The Working Man's Barnstar
For your hard work on correcting endless technical mistakes (one-by-one, you are not a bot!), like mine at List of K-pop albums on the Billboard charts and also alerting us in Edit Summary! Please accept my appreciation! Bonnielou2013 ( talk) 02:26, 13 March 2020 (UTC) reply

Notification

Hi Mikeblas,

Out of curiosity, what was the purpose of notifying me concerning an edit made twelve years ago? – Juliancolton |  Talk 19:25, 15 March 2020 (UTC) reply

When I fix duplicate reference definitions, I mention the user who made the duplicate definition so that they know I've made a change to their edit. This way, they know that I've changed their edit. It also informs them that an edit they made didn't do what they probably expected it to do. And probably most importantly, it gives them the opportunity to review my fix so they can make sure it's correct.
Hope that helps! -- Mikeblas ( talk) 15:17, 16 March 2020 (UTC) reply

New information does not go in the lead. See WP:LEAD. Add it to the appropriate section of the article, and keep it brief, per WP:WEIGHT. Thanks. Sundayclose ( talk) 16:00, 27 March 2020 (UTC) reply

I didn't add any new information. And I don't see much about "new information" (in particular, what is "new"?) in WP:LEAD, anyway. -- Mikeblas ( talk) 16:09, 27 March 2020 (UTC) reply
