Welcome!

Hi L-Zwei, and a warm welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have enjoyed editing as much as I did so far and decide to stay. Unfamiliar with the features and workings of Wikipedia? Don't fret! Be Bold! Here's some good links for your reference and that'll get you started in no time!

Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :

  • RC Patrol - Keeping a lookout for vandalism.
  • Cleanup - Help make unreadable articles readable.
  • Requests - Wanted on WP, but hasn't been created.
  • Merge - Combining duplicate articles into one.
  • Wikiprojects - So many to join, so many to choose from...Take your pick!

Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! =)

Images

Concerning your latest image uploads that have overwrited mine and Tenshouzans, may I ask why you uploaded over the LLN series images...? They were fine they way they were, and your promotional art lacks their weaponry. Although I can see why you replaced the Raiden series image - as the image didn't depict its right arm, replacing the others was somewhat needless. I'm not mad or anything mind you, just confused. Could you explain your reasoning..? Thanks, and welcome to wikipedia by the way. Please respond on my talk page. - MegamanZero| Talk 17:07, 13 January 2006 (UTC) reply

Oh! The license, eh..? Just change it to {{{fairuse}}} in the space where it has licensing. No need to change out the picture! :) I like the concept art too, but it strips away their weaponry, and I really would like the pictures to include that. In the future, could you find art that includes the weaponry..? Thanks, and I'm glad you're working on the Virtual On articles with me and Tenshozohan, we really need the help. :) Nice to meet you by the way.- MegamanZero| Talk 17:48, 13 January 2006 (UTC) reply
No problem, that sounds fine. BTW, which VR(s) do you prefer to play as..? And what's your favorite Virtual On game..? - MegamanZero| Talk 12:17, 14 January 2006 (UTC) reply
Oh, don't worry about it. I suck too. :) I gave up unlocking all the virtuaoids on Virtual On Marz and just traded in the damn thing. It was so fustrating and meaningless. Don't purchase it, if possible. Your nerves will thank you. My specialty includes fighting games and some racing games. Dead or Alive is my most skilled game by far- Online, I am ranked 5th in the entire world. - MegamanZero| Talk 14:00, 14 January 2006 (UTC) reply

Searching

I did a search for "Teil's Impluse" and "Gundam Sidestory" on several web browsers. I got nothing that would suggest it even existed, except for various copies on other on-line encyclopedias of Wikipedia Articles that mentioned Tiel's Impluse and the Gundam Sidestory. Both names and titles sounded like Fanfiction, and there was nothing I could find online that suggested that either existed other than on-line encyclopedias. There are plenty of instances in which I found Fanfiction inside wikipedia, and by first search seemed to have confirmed this suspecion. Only until you changed the article did I decided to email some of my friends who were into Gundam. Most never heard of Teil's Impluse or the Sidestory. However, I did find one friend who, long ago, did read Teil's Impluse and and the Sidestory. The research wasn't the probelm. The problem was that there was little information to begin with. -- Eldarone 17:29, 22 May 2006 (UTC) reply

Question?

Just I want to know this not to write it. Please please please tell me if you know or ask anyone, Which long range beam cannon is more stronger and why? Destiny Gundam's cannon or the Gunner Zaku's cannon or Blast Impulse's cannon pease help me if you know or tell anyone to answer it please please please, And I'm very sorry. Astrys 14:29, 5 July 2006 (UTC) reply

Thanks for replying, I know that the question isn't so clear because there aren't any special thing to compare between the cannons, But I wanted to ask this question because I'm interest in Video Games so I watched some videos for GSD Union vs ZAFT II and I saw a strange thing that Gunner Zaku and Blast Impulse cannon are shooting a big long continuous laser(that's it still for 5-7sec like Destiny's and SF cannon's when cancelling each other) while Destiny cannon shot just a small normal shot after charging (It seems like the beam rifle green Shot but more bigger) So I can't beleive that the designers made Destiny's cannon weaker than Blast and Gunner cannon and when I post that in www.Gamefaqs.com to discuss about it(Because in gamefaqs any person who wanted a question can discuss it in the web) a person said that Blast>Gunner>Destiny, So I wanted to ask you then if this is your opinions I respect it and I can trust you but please if you know other people who are interest in GSD could you sak them, And about the source I checked MS GSD Generation of C.E. and I saw that one shot from Destiny cannon is stronger than two shots from Blast and Gunner cannon so could that help if not could you help. Astrys 17:56, 5 July 2006 (UTC) reply

Sorry but I want to know if that's true or what, The guy who said that Destiny's cannon is weaker than Gunner's and Blast proved that by saying :

simply because Destiny's beam cannon's blast radias is MUCH smaller per beam Astrys 13:28, 8 July 2006 (UTC) reply

Ok! Then I don't think that Destiny cannon blast radias is much smaller than Gunner Zaku's and Blast impulse radias I saw some clips in the series and it's not sure that Destiny cannon radias is smaller and weaker and there I saw episode32 When stellar was piloting Destroy in Berlin the cannon's blast from the chest were very huge but when Sting in ep38 fires the chest cannons at Destiny they were small and in ep38 Sting fires the big cannon(while in the transform mode before being a MS) and the blast radiases were very big at the see(bigger than Minerva) and in in ep45 the radiases of the same cannons were smaller than Destiny gundam so that's true we can't trust SEED animators they are lazy(no new scens).
I want to ask did MS Gundam Generatin of C.E prove anything since Destiny's cannon is stronger.
Or did Junius Treaty help since they can't Build any strong MS (Impulse and Zaku were build under it's rules) while Destiny Gundam violates it's rules.
And what abut the powerpland is it helps in anything. Astrys 21:35, 8 July 2006 (UTC) reply

PS Armour!

Hello again, Well While rewatching some episodes of Seed I rewatched the episode when Waltfeld said that Strike's PS is able to take 76 hits from BuCUE's missiles so I want to ask about if it's the same issue about Freedom's PS, Also wing zero custom was shot down by the serpent M-guns(bullets) so if those things hits Freedom or any other MS that is protected by PS and powered by a Nuclear reactor would it be shot down too or not. Kira Yamato!

Well, I don't know why but As I know Kira is considered by some fans that he is a (Fictional messiah) but is he also considered as a(Fictional God) I don't think that but is that true because I saw that in his (categoris) I just want to ask, And sorry for asking you every time. Astrys 02:31, 6 August 2006 (UTC) reply

And I was discussing with some guys about Destiny I said to them that it has unlimited potential and I proved that by posting a link to Destiny's page from Wikipedia but they said that wikipedia isn't an official site, What I can say to them about that. again I'm very sorry. Astrys 02:36, 6 August 2006 (UTC) reply

Simply true Destiny has some flaws in it's Design but it's still early to say that it's design is bad comparing to other protagonist MSes because I hope that there will be a second class for Destiny, About Unlimited Potential the guys forgot it but I still remember that I saw the Unlimited Potential line in one of Destiny's model kit instructions I'm not sure about it I'll try to search but maybe it will be very hard since I don't know any model kit sooooo I'll forget about this thing.

OH... Ya I want to add for mecha's with true unlimited potential SRX (the both) and Genesic Gaogaigar + what you mentined, Really those kind of mses would burn all Gundams.

And about Kira I really saw that thing about Fictional god two times: first in trivia and the second in categoris but it was deleted because it's surely a fake also about fictional Messiah I think that it's and overstatement to be said I don't consider him to be like that he is really as good as Shinn and Athrun if not that they are better, That thing wasn'y saod for Amuro,Char or even Domon but maybe it can be called for pilots from C.E... Hmmmmm I don't know maybe you know more and more than me, However Thanks. Astrys 02:15, 8 August 2006 (UTC) reply

It is on my list of articles needing to be improved. I will be doing it tomorrow. (2:00 a.m. here Orz) I am still fighting against myself in merging Z Plus to it. However, Z Plus seems to have pretty much even more notability on Zeta. (Okay, they have both impacted each other on various redesigns). Gundam Mk. II

I've put up an editprotected template on the Gundam Mk. II to try and get it restored to the previous version as accepted by the current consensus. Am I correct in assuming you prefer the version that you, Jtrainor, Mythsearcher and I have been editing? I don't want to misrepresent your intentions in making such requests, so please clarify if that is not correct.

That said, I imagine A Man In Black will attempt to claim that I'm the only "consensus" in this (or any of the relevant) article(s), so if my assumptions are correct, stating the facts would be appreciated. Thanks. MalikCarr ( talk) 04:29, 17 November 2007 (UTC) reply

Proposed deletion of Valkyrie (Super Robot Wars)

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Valkyrie (Super Robot Wars), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

This element of the Super Robot Wars series do not establish independent notability. Without coverage in reliable third party sources, these are just made up of unnecessary plot summary, game guide material, and original research. Relevant AfDs include Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Database (Super Robot Wars), Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Arado Balanga, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/AS Soleares/AS Alegrías, and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ruach Ganeden and more. All discussions resulted to deletion of the nominated articles.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also " What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{ dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of RGM-89 Jegan and others

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated articles are RGM-89 Jegan, MS-09 Dom, Nu Gundam. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and " What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to the relevant discussion pages: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/RGM-89 Jegan (2nd nomination) for RGM-89 Jegan, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MS-09 Dom for MS-09 Dom, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nu Gundam for Nu Gundam. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Hi,

I wonder why do you have removed the entry of "ASD - Tower Defense" in this page : List of open-source video games.

I have unfortunately not yet had time to create a wiki page of the game...

Here are more information about the game : ASD - TD on Google Code

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Is there a particular reason you removed a citation from an article tagged as needing citations without any comment? Darker Dreams ( talk) 14:09, 13 April 2011 (UTC) reply

A link or directions to an outside source which directly supports the statement it is placed adjacent to is the definition of a citation... so, yes, it's an outside link. What's your point? It leads to a specific entry in an independent catalogue of related matter. IE a source or citation. I ask again; why did you remove a citation from an article tagged as needing citation without comment? If there’s an issue with that website as a source please elaborate. Darker Dreams ( talk) 08:06, 14 April 2011 (UTC) reply
I'm not sure if you're trying to be offensively condescending, but that's how you're sounding. Yes, I saw the "Notes" and "References" section. Did you see the header block that says add inline references? Or, perhaps, you were just being lazy and reverting rather than making a proper citation from the link. Eye of Cthulhu

Why did you remove the reference to the game Terraria in cthulhu Games section ? if the cite was bad then it can be changed. as you can see in the Wikipedia page of terraria one of the main bosses there is the "eye of Cthulhu" (refrencing Cthulhu wiki page) this does not mean that Cthulhu is an eyeball - it is a comedic take of cthulhu. Same as "Munchkin Cthulhu" written in the cthulhu page under games paragraph - does not mean that Cthulhu is a Munchkin. Mike2learn ( talk) 17:53, 9 June 2011 (UTC) reply

January 2013

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of video games notable for negative reception. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Sudo Ghost 04:34, 15 January 2013 (UTC) reply
