Request reason:

I see nothing for the revertion of my edits, and blocking my account aswell. Those 3 edits I've done is not a vandalism. If you sir/ma'am, thinks that it's actually a vandalism, then revert it, But please do not take my ability to edit because helping to Wikipedia is my dream since a kid.

Accept reason:

From what I can tell, it seems the block was an unfortunate error resulting from collateral damage ralated to a sockpuppet case. Since two others and myself can't see the vandalism, I'm unblocking this account. ~ Anachronist ( talk) 22:36, 14 January 2018 (UTC) reply

  • If someone block me after mistaking my edits as a "vandalism" again, I'll pack my stuff to leave Wikipedia. Since no one seems to be happy with my edits.

Drmies - Which edits were vandalism? ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 14:14, 13 January 2018 (UTC) reply
The block log indicates that they were blocked in relation to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jr abad, but as a vandal rather than as a sock. I, too, am having trouble seeing the vandalism. — DoRD ( talk) 15:39, 13 January 2018 (UTC) reply
I have no sockpuppets, Believe me, Since IP addresses are shared by many users, It's hard to prove. Kyleroo ( talk) 15:52, 13 January 2018 (UTC) reply
Can't see the vandalism, and think we should unblock. PhilKnight ( talk) 00:40, 14 January 2018 (UTC) reply
  • Kyleroo, PhilKnight, DoRD, Oshwah, I don't see it either--I think I probably got their edits mixed up with those of others on that very busy range. Kyleroo, I'm sorry--I'm glad my fellow admins were there to fix my mess. Drmies ( talk) 01:31, 16 January 2018 (UTC) reply

Jacob Batalon

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edits to Jacob Batalon, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edits had to be reverted, for the following reasons:

First, Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. Although there is a citation at end of the passage that mentions Batalon being born in Hawaii, it does not specify the city.

Second, Wikipedia does not include a subject's ethnicity in the Lead section unless it is relevant to the subject's notability, as explained at MOS:ETHNICITY.

Lastly, the guideline on overlinking gives examples of what should generally not be wikilinked, and it includes not only ethnicities, but also the names countries, geographic features and other locations.

If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Nightscream ( talk) 14:31, 26 January 2022 (UTC) reply

  • Hello. Sorry for the late reply. I understood everything. Though I would like to mention that his specific birthplace in Hawaii was taken from the Infobox person template. Thank you! Kyleroo ( talk) 14:55, 23 February 2022 (UTC) reply
