Make sure your draft meets one of the criteria above before resubmitting. Learn about
mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If the subject does not meet any of the criteria, it is not suitable for Wikipedia.
1) We need independent sources for his career. His CV is not independent.
2) Contrary to what was previously stated, an APS Fellow is not notable enough, there are too many each year. SIAM maybe, although there were 26 in 2022.
3) While a DOE young investigator award is good for a career, it is not notable enough.
4) A long list of publications with brief descriptions does not prove notability.
5) There are major format issues that need to be addressed.
6) Things like his working in the music industry have no place here.
7) Almost no sources to verify his career, most of which is not relevant.
Please read carefully
WP:NACADEMIC and rewrite this as carefully and rigorously as you would a SIAM paper (perhaps a bit less waffling than some papers). Assume that you will be peer reviewed on Wikipedia.

I truly appreciate your patience and your helpful suggestions. Most importantly, your editorial help...less is more...
I cut the text substantially and removed superfluous narrative. I hope I got the reference style correctly.
Regarding references to my work, the chosen items from peer-reviewed journals. I might be misunderstanding what you prefer, if this is not what is used.
My reference to my web site/CV is to my official web page on the US Department of Energy Laboratory. It is already vetted and it is public.
Regarding notability, awards, etc. A referee took exception to a fellowship at the American Physical Society. This is the premier physics society worldwide, so other than being a US Academy member, it is the highest vote of professional confidence for physicists. Moreover, the SIAM Geoscience Prize mentioned is given as a recognition of worldwide intellectual contributions in an area of applied mathematics with a specialty in geosciences. Other awards are noted, also prestigious within my mathematics and physics communities.
I submit a newly edited submittal, and thank you for your patience. I took over the submission of the page, as my colleague felt I could better address the issues.
