Important Notice

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Antifa (United States) for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you. –  Muboshgu ( talk) 22:59, 17 June 2020 (UTC) reply

Not only was it not "general discussion", it was a "discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines". This is getting beyond a joke now.-- Hypernator ( talk) 18:27, 18 June 2020 (UTC) reply

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Antifa (United States)‎. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 13:24, 18 June 2020 (UTC) reply

I have realized now (I had to work this out because it was not clearly stated) that this is in relation to the suggestion that a certain user, or users, were vandalizing the Antifa talk page. Comments that I had made, that were were in relation to an edit request were removed/ censored. The comment, that was written by me, was directly related to the edit request, and gave reasons why the edit request was not valid. An explanation was given as to incorrect perspectives of communism as an ideology.
First my comment was incorrectly indented to make it appear that I was responding to someone else. A person then made some strange off topic response suggesting that I was making an edit suggestion (in reality I was justifying and supporting the reason that the other user had given for not changing the article). Then the comment was removed completely. All that was perceived was that this was a direct attack on my contribution, hence the suggestion of vandalization. People are seemingly vulgarizing the rules of this site to fit in with their desire to stifle my arguments, all of which have been directly related to the improvement of the page. I have also noticed that people keep diverting the arguments in my own edit request and making snide comments towards me. It is a little odd that no one has pointed out their disruption and personal attacks on the page that actually have no basis whatsoever.-- Hypernator ( talk) 18:24, 18 June 2020 (UTC) reply
