Hello Historian734. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!

I'm S0091, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

  Do be civil
  Do keep cool!
Do maintain a neutral point of view
  Don't spam
  Don't infringe copyright
Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest

If you need further help, you can:

or you can:

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
  Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
  Help contribute to articles
  Perform maintenance tasks

Become a member of a project that interests you
  Help design new templates
Subscribe and contribute to The Signpost
Translate articles from Wikipedias in other languages

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Well, you followed through the appropriate way. I do not know Spanish ("cerveza" is sufficient for my purposes) but I did translate some portions of the site and I agree it appeared suspect. However, since I could not do a full assessment thought it ultimately unhelpful to comment on the talk page. S0091 ( talk) 20:20, 30 November 2020 (UTC) reply

Thanks for your comment S0091. It seems, so far no one has any issues / cares about my removal of these sources so all is good. Should someone decide to restore them, we can continue discussing on talk page or, as you suggested, taking it to the RS noticeboard. Incidentally, I would be interested in creating an article related to this one, but I think I will leave it until next year. When I do, if you don't mind, I will come to you for advice. If an editor disagrees it's best to start with the talk page and see where that goes. If unable to come to consensus then entertain other venues. Sure, willing to help if I can. Here's to 2021. Surely it has to better than 2020, right? S0091 ( talk) 20:57, 30 November 2020 (UTC) reply
S0091 Let's hope so! Cheers!-- Historian734 ( talk) 21:37, 30 November 2020 (UTC) reply

Your Edits to Encomienda

Hi Historian734, I just wanted to drop a line in relation to your recent edits on Encomienda. I do not wish to edit-war with you, so I come here to ask if we can clean up the section on "Skepticism Toward Accusations of Genocide" together, as the section contains numerous incorrect paraphrases, and ABC News is not the best source that could be used. I also just have to ask, are you, or do you have any relation to, the users Queloquepasa or Encomendado?-- Hobomok ( talk) 16:28, 14 December 2020 (UTC) reply

No, I do not, Hobomok. I agree we should not edit war. As I said, lets take it easy and not go down the route of mutual accusations. -- Historian734 ( talk) 16:10, 15 December 2020 (UTC) reply
