periodicas.edu.uy

Hi Fadesga, I did a search for site:http://www.periodicas.edu.uy/Nuestra_tierra and found lots of highly useful pdfs on many topics concerning Uruguay. It looks like quite a reliable source. Thank you for the ref in La Teja. Hoverfish Talk 13:26, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Stubs

Thank you for cleaning up after me. (It's nice to see someone adding to PamD's efforts.) Good work, done well - most appreciated. Cheers, Pdfpdf ( talk) 04:02, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

In your rush to tag this **brand new** article, I lost 20 minutes worth of content, references, etc., I was adding. TWICE. Thanks. ugh. -- ColonelHenry ( talk) 16:57, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

( talk page stalker) @ColH: You'd added the {{ stub}} tag which puts the article into Category:Stubs. Fadesga, and I, and various other editors, sort those stub by replacing the basic stub tag by something more precise, and s/he also does what I do, which is to add the DEFAULTSORT, birth and death cats, and anything else which obviously needs to be done. I don't check the timestamp to see how old an article is: there's no way of knowing whether the editor is coming back in two minutes or never, and the encyclopedia is better if these changes get made. But in any case, if you find that another editor is editing at the same time so that there's an "edit conflict", your input is displayed to you (down at the bottom of the page) so that you can cut and paste it to over-write the version created by the other editor, and then replace their changes. Couple of minutes, but not the wasted 20 minutes you mention. Happy Editing. Pam D 17:48, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

Kike San Martín

Hi! I like to request your help with the article Kike San Martín. I have AfD'ed it as advertisement. One of the guys involved in the AfD likes to thoroughly check the sources provided, but has to admit that his Spanish is not good enough. I find myself in the same position. Due to a possible COI, it seems worth doing this. Is it possible to help us out? Please? Thanks in advance. The Banner  talk 11:58, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

I have seen your edits and your comment. Thanks for your efforts! The Banner  talk 17:30, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

user space

Hi Fadesga,

You may have inadvertently edited my user space articles believing them to be WP articles. I userfied them, so they won't show categories or stubs in mainspace. If I made a mistake and left something unedited, please tell me and I'll correct it. Thank you, Crtew ( talk) 15:04, 17 March 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for your note re Structural abuse

I had overlooked the psychology stub tag that was already there. Fladrif ( talk) 13:50, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

Hello Fadesga!

Academic journals

Hi, I'm a bit confused: why are you adding book stub templates to articles on academic journals? -- Randykitty ( talk) 21:23, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

  • Hi again. I hate to be a pain, but you shouldn't add stub templates to artixcles that are clearly not stubs like Journal of Chinese Linguistics. It has an image, infobox, and independent rerference, so it has been classes as "Start", not "Stub"... Thanks. -- Randykitty ( talk) 11:29, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
