Thanks for making this! - I'm not too good on constructing the formatting for these :-) I've made a change to have all the genera by scientific name (the way it was before) instead of a mixture of English and scientific - MPF 16:08, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
Hi Eug - any idea which is the valid name of Eucalyptus costata and E. incrassata? - they shouldn't really both be in the list if they're the same species! - MPF 00:16, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
You changed river red to say that it is a water saving feature. Do you have any references for this? Remember, no original research. njh 10:35, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi Eug - re "Ironbark - is hard, rough and deeply furrowed. It is soaked with dried kino which gives a dark red or even black colour", the link to kino needs disambiguating! - MPF 11:18, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
Hey, Eug, I just did a preliminary translation of the article you suggested (based on Lagunaria). I also changed your link to the correct page. Thanks for the suggestion: feel free to look it over and make any changes you see necessary. Trevor 22:19, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for that - good to see some support for that one! (must cleanup the list sometime) SatuSuro 12:38, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot ( talk) 21:19, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi Magioladitis, just wanted to let you know of a mistake that I've found: http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Chinmaya_Mission&diff=289979785&oldid=288918955. Also this article isn't one that Yobot would usually deal with. eug ( talk) 06:16, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Sorry for that error. I tried to remove any posible nonChristian organizations before asking them to be done by robot, but I see this is quite an error. I hope it is the last (as well as the first) error of this sort-- but I will still begin looking at all the changes made on that one that list right now. -- Carlaude: Talk 06:34, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi, now that Pleomorphism is a disambiguation page, I was wondering if we could get your help to WP:FIXDABLINKS. I've been over it, and I'm not entirely comfortable making the distinction, so I was hoping to get some expert help. This tool makes things easier. Thanks, -- JaGa talk 18:13, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

Hello, my name is Michael Tsikerdekis [1] [2], currently involved as a student in full time academic research at Masaryk University. I am writing to you to kindly invite you to participate in an online survey about interface and online collaboration on Wikipedia. The survey has been reviewed and approved by the Wikimedia Foundation Research Committee.
I am contacting you because you were randomly selected from a list of active editors. The survey should take about 7 to 10 minutes to complete, and it is very straightforward.
Wikipedia is an open project by nature. Let’s create new knowledge for everyone! :-)
To take part in the survey please follow the link: tsikerdekis.wuwcorp.com/pr/survey/?user=29456588 ( HTTPS).
Best Regards, -- Michael Tsikerdekis ( talk) 12:04, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
PS: The results from the research will become available online for everyone and will be published in an open access journal.
UPDATE: This is the second and final notification for participating in this study. Your help is essential for having concrete results and knowledge that we all can share. I would like to thank you for your time and as always for any questions, comments or ideas do not hesitate to contact me. PS: As a thank you for your efforts and participation in Wikipedia Research you will receive a Research Participation Barnstar after the end of the study. -- Michael Tsikerdekis ( talk) 12:25, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

With respect to your point as to required sources for theories, I believe that Wikipedia needs reliable sources even for this. Otherwise, anyone could add anything they wished by merely calling it a theory. -- Larry ( talk) 15:07, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi! I'm serving as the wikipedian-in-residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives until June! One of my goals as resident, is to work with Wikipedians and staff to improve content on Wikipedia about people who have collections held in the Archives - most of these are scientists who held roles within the Smithsonian and/or federal government. I thought you might like to participate since you are interested in the sciences! Sign up to participate here and dive into articles needing expansion and creation on our to-do list. Feel free to make a request for images or materials at the request page, and of course, if you share your successes at the outcomes page you will receive the SIA barnstar! Thanks for your interest, and I look forward to your participation! Sarah ( talk) 01:24, 19 April 2012 (UTC) |
Hello. As a participant in Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Abortion article titles, you may wish to register an opinion on its followup RFC, Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Abortion advocacy movement coverage, which is now in its community feedback phase. Please note that WP:RFC/AAMC is not simply a repeat of WP:RFC/AAT, and is attempting to achieve better results by asking a more narrowly-focused, policy-based question of the community. Assumptions based on the previous RFC should be discarded before participation, particularly the assumption that Wikipedia has or inherently needs to have articles covering generalized perspective on each side of abortion advocacy, and that what we are trying to do is come up with labels for that. Thanks! —chaos5023 20:27, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
On 17 December 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Angophora hispida, which you created or substantially expanded. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Angophora hispida. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
Hi Eug. I've looked into it and all the edits at Nairobi (county) were by Nairobi123 so even though it was a copy/paste move to Nairobi County the license remains with the same user. I've reverted this now. These Kenyan County page moves are a bit of a mess! It remains the only hassle/reason why I'd want to apply for the admin role! SFB 10:46, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
