Independent Professional Football Leagues of America
According to my research the association was also reported by UPI that was published nationwide and was titled "4 Grid Leagues Form Nationwide Group" (without mentioning the
Midwest Professional Football League). At first I was sure that the "Texas League" was a different name for the
Southwestern Football League, but now I think that it was something to it (maybe a proposed league or something). It worth looking it up, but at least keep in as an anecdote --

Ccui123: I chose to include the May 1972 article from Des Moines Tribune because the wire article from the AP in March 1972 said it was still waiting for one or two more teams to join. I assume they all did by May 1972. I'll add back Texas League, maybe it's different. Eagles24/7(C) 23:00, 12 April 2021 (UTC)reply
I just remembered something, Arthur Arkush from the
Pro Football Weekly was involved with the
Trans-American Football League and was later tried to established new football league in the region. Maybe "the Texas League" was related to his attempts (but it may be also me trying to fit a square peg into a round hole...).--

See comment from Clarityfiend. Information in the infobox also needs a little sourcing work, but other than that, pretty good.

Always learning
Hi Eagles247,
When I saw that Fantasyfootball04 was blocked, I thought I was next, lol.
I was like ... man that person really helped out with adding U.S.
Thank God for a 'show block details' tab. I actually thanked MC for helping with just that last month, not knowing a block was
coming.

Bringingthewood: You've been doing a good job around here from everything I've seen! With some of these users it's not a matter of whether they have good intentions, but if they are competent enough to be an editor here. With the user in question, their enthusiasm, effort, and good intentions are all there, but they have proven they are not capable of learning from mistakes or guidance given. Thanks for helping out with WP:NFL! Eagles24/7(C) 17:33, 6 September 2023 (UTC)reply
I get you 100%, it definitely looked that way. I was really hoping with thanks, maybe a non-combative word etc., would have helped him. Oh well, only time will tell.
One thing I wanted to say, truthfully, and this was from back when I was with Answers.com, I may come across willing to bend over backwards for people, nice guy I guess, but I'm not ***-kissing by any means. I'm friends with another admin. (hope he considers me a friend) and I've always respected authority. It's not me looking for brownie points. When I like people, I like people.
I really appreciate you responding to my message and please, like I've said to others here, if you see something that I'm doing that ruffles feathers, please let me know right away. I'm bad at stopping the ball from rolling. ;)
Glad to have met you and enjoy the rest of your week. Regards

Bringingthewood: No worries, I'll be sure to point you in the right direction if needed! A quick tip if you're looking for one, when responding to a message on a talk page, be sure to use indentation.
Wikipedia:Indentation has a good explainer for you, and I've fixed yours above. Thanks! Eagles24/7(C) 00:19, 7 September 2023 (UTC)reply
Yeah, I always forget that one. Wish I had the 'preview edit' button back again. Wikipedia must have changed things in April and I have a relic here. At least I could see the mess I make before making it. Sorry about that.

The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.
Hey. Thanks for your
understanding, but that was on me. I was doing too many things at once and had the wrong set of diffs open. All the best,
