FCC history cards

Hey, could you explain to me what should be done with the 410 articles using {{ FCC history cards}} now that you marked that template as deprecated. Is there a different template? Is a result like this from KAGY not the wanted result? -- Gonnym ( talk) 12:12, 6 February 2019 (UTC)

{{ FCC history cards}} is calling an HTML page filled with a finite list of radio stations and their facility IDs. There are many other stations that have history cards, but are not present in this HTML page. The FCC site has links to these history cards, and all stations (should) have links to the FCC site, which in turn have links to the FCC cards. If a link to the FCC cards is necessary for an article, it should be directly linked to it, and not use the template. For KAGY, the link would be: [https://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/prod/cdbs/forms/prod/getimportletter_exh.cgi?import_letter_id=44510 FCC Cards for KAGY]. In the beginning, I thought the template would be a convenience, but even the FCC is no longer linking to the their own (un-updated) HTML page, and linking to the cards directly. -- DrChuck68 ( talk) 01:39, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
I didn't see you answered me before I posted right now on the WikiProject. Sorry about that! So there is no replacement template right? Just directly linking? -- Gonnym ( talk) 16:07, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
That's correct, directly linking. -- DrChuck68 ( talk) 19:48, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
