Speedy deletion of Addictions Volume II (album)

A tag has been placed on Addictions Volume II (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{ hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. // Chris (complaints)(contribs) 17:08, 10 February 2008 (UTC) reply

The article was deleted because it didn't tell what the subject was nor why it was notable enough for the encyclopedia. If you would like to add the article back, that's fine, just please remember to cite and reference your sources. Please ask me if you need any help. (Oh, by the way, you can sign your comments by putting ~~~~ after your comments.) Welcome to Wikipedia, we're glad you could come and join us. :-) Keilana| Parlez ici 19:51, 10 February 2008 (UTC) reply

Wow. Thanks for the quick response and helpful advice. I appreciate the need for verification and citation but apart from having the physical Cassette in my possesion ( I am in the process of converting several hundred cassettes onto mp3 format) and reliable confirmation of this album from Amazon and other record retailers I am at a loss to provide anything further. I am so far indebted to the extremely useful information that I have recieved for Wiki concerning Recording artists that I just wanted to pass on information for the use of others in a similar situation as myself Degar2 ( talk) 20:07, 10 February 2008 (UTC) reply

No problem. Do you know if it charted on any major music charts? That may be of help. If not, you may want to see WikiProject Songs, WikiProject Albums, and WikiProject Music, projects for people who enjoy music like yourself. They will likely be pleased to have your help. Thanks Keilana. Just had a look at the links that you have sent me. Brilliant. I shall have to investigate further. I haven't found any mention of this album reaching any chart positions. By the way, still struggling to find my way around the discussion and talk navigations. Do you pick up my talk from this page or from your own page. It's a bit confusing at the moment but I'm sure it will get easier. Regards Dave Degar2 ( talk) 20:46, 10 February 2008 (UTC) reply

That's unfortunate. I can actually pick up your notes from either here or on my page, wherever you want to reply is fine. I'll probably get it faster if you post on my page, as I get the new messages bar. Are you finding your way around OK? It does get easier after a time, I do hope you stay here. It's generally a nice place to work, and there are tons of people that can help you. Best, Keilana| Parlez ici 14:12, 11 February 2008 (UTC) reply
