I don't see that you were advised of the questions, although you might have noticed if you have your subpages on your watchlist. Regarding your edits to Death Note episode pages

Please do not remove episode summaries from pages intended to tell about the episodes in question. It's an episode summary, and unless you can explain how a summary of the events in an episode constitutes copyright violation, or at least explain how, precisely, with links and/or valid examples, the episode summaries in question are violating copyright, I must ask you to stop removing the episode summaries. Thank you. Nique1287 04:00, 20 December 2006 (UTC) reply

If they've come from a blog, please provide a link to the blog in question, as I cannot in good conscience self-revert without evidence that your edits were warranted. Nique1287 04:04, 20 December 2006 (UTC) reply
Actually, I stopped reverting when I saw your link to the blog, if you'd care to look at the timestamps on that before making assumptions. I'm now waiting for Exukevera (Can't be bothered to make a user link this late) to either explain, or acknowledge, the discrepancies. I'll thank you to chill out and not only try reading and looking at timestamps on edits before jumping to conclusions, but also to stop being so sarcastic in your removals of these supposed copyvios. (Examples include "copyvio, copyvio, copyvio, copyvio, it's like the fucking monkey developers song." and "hey, at least all this pain-in-the ass deletion will up my contribs." If you're going to take that attitude with this kind of edit, perhaps you should reconsider making them, and instead suggest that they be made by someone else if you notice a discrepancy.)
Also, I have no idea who you meant that second comment in a row for on my user talk page, but I have a feeling it wasn't me. I don't agree with your actions right now at all. Guidelines say to be bold but not reckless in making edits, especially LARGE-SCALE edits such as your supposed copyvio removals. Nique1287 04:24, 20 December 2006 (UTC) reply

Your edits on the MfD for Wikipedia:Don't Destroy

That's fine, I just wasn't sure. I was AGF but making a slight investigation just to check ... I get nervous when IPs start saying they are other users ...

Anyway, cheers! Yuser 31415 18:06, 30 December 2006 (UTC) reply

Cheers!

I know! I just found out yesterday on the IRC channels! How have you been doing anyway? I applied for college at the New College of Florida and they'll tell me in Janurary. Damn I love it! I did everything one possibly could do, and I can say for the first time I tried my best at something, short of taking hostages. I came back to Wikipedia a little the past few days, I got involved in a few things, and now I'm on the IRC channels every night. I figured out monobook.js pretty well and I have revert tools and popups installed, but really want nothing more. I got an awesome new iMac Core 2 Duo, 2.33 GHz, 2 Gb RAM, 250 Gb harddrive.

I've started playing Chess and I like that a lot.

I'm going to start (*cold air*) exercising in January too. I figure muscles are among the most multifunctional, productive, and efficient things to have, so I need them! An actual cardiovascular system could save my life. X Mac Davis ( DESK| How's my driving?) 22:29, 31 December 2006 (UTC) reply

I'm going to start my vlog in January too. I'll let you in on that, and I wouldn't mind if you helped me out with err.. marketing? Something like that. I'm going to keep doing it too!

How was Christmas? I only got a sausage and my friend Casey baked me quite delicious cookies that happened to be in a great number. I got her some Godiva chocolate. Tasty!

I really don't know what I am going to do with the podcast/video blog/vlog/show yet. What am I going to say/do? It's probably going to be a video form of my journal. My journal however, is not a "journal," it is more like a canvas that I put thoughts on. I figure I'm going to do some cool science demonstrations too! Cryogens, electromagnetic effects, levitation, and contraptions such as trebuchets, solar death rays, and hovercrafts will all make an appearance I know. There's also going to be story arcs since it is half diary-journal. I think people would like it... which is why I am putting it on YouTube, and not just my harddrive!! I have been trying to get Final Cut Pro, but I haven't succeeded. Any help from you? No torrents at http://thepiratebay.org have helped me yet! I do, however, have iMovie HD and Garageband, the second of which I already use extensively. I also want to put some flash animations in it, how good are you in Flash? I remember you said you wanted Macromedia (now Adobe!) studio when we met, and I said I already had MX 2004. Did you ever get that? I can send you a bunch of CDs of whatever software you want if you can't get a torrent (I hope you know what I am talking about here), since I'm visiting Thailand again and going back to my favorite world-famous software store :) they'll get you any piece of software for $3, as I recall. If they don't have it, they'll buy it and give you a $3 copy.

I'm also starting my mathematics education in Jan. Woo hoo! I love it. I have to do the next 3/4 of precalculus for my high school credit, but I will be studying it the rest of the year.

Where are you living now anyway? I'm in Winter Springs, Florida. You should download Colloquy and jump on the WP:IRC channels with me! X Mac Davis ( DESK| How's my driving?) 22:23, 31 December 2006 (UTC) reply

Wikibreak

I'm terribly sorry about the stress you're going through. Recognition can sometimes be hard to attain, especially with the kind of society that exists on Wikipedia today. The Wikipedia community, IMHO, is broken.-- Ed ¿Cómo estás? Reviews? 17:35, 12 January 2007 (UTC) reply

It takes maturity and good sense to realize when you need a break, for whatever reason: good for you. A lot of my contributions were cleanup-oriented, I applaud you very much for doing those nasty tasks that do often go unrecognized. Take your break, and when things on Wikipedia don't seem to be that important one way or another, that'll be the perfect frame of mind to return! Thanks for all you've done and be well. Demi T/ C 18:18, 12 January 2007 (UTC) reply

I'm sorry that you feel like that. I've been here for a while and the bullying has bit by bit become worse, so that gentler folk don't feel very welcome. Your work is appreciated though. Drop me a line when you come back and I'll try to keep an eye on you. Grace Note 05:54, 13 January 2007 (UTC) reply

I hope you have a nice Wikibreak, and know that your contributions are valued here. Seriously! Even if you're not writing featured articles, if you just fix one typo in an article, think of the thousands of people who will read that article and not be tripped up by some wierd spelling - all because of you! Even if it seems like no one cares about your edits, think about how really cool this encyclopedia is, and how really cool it is that you're contributing to it. -- Natalya 19:47, 13 January 2007 (UTC) reply

I agree with several of these comments, especially Natalya's and Demi's. You've made some good contributions, and when you feel better you'll come back and make some more. For example, the first thing you can do it Wikignome Natalya's message and change "wierd" to "weird" ... just kidding! Have a good break and come back when you're ready and I hope things are less stressful when you do. Regards, Newyorkbrad 22:20, 13 January 2007 (UTC) reply

WP:ADOPT

Hi there,

As a current Adopter with the Adopt-a-User program there has been some ongoing developments that we would like to bring to your attention.

A new Adopter's Area has been created where you can find useful resources and other Adopter's experiences. Please feel free to add any resources you may have found useful as an Adopter, as well as recount any experiences that you think may help others. If you know of any useful resources for new users / Adoptees then you can add them here.

Also the way the adoption process works has changed slightly. To decrease workload at Category:Wikipedians seeking to be adopted in Adopt-a-user, on offering adoption please change the {{Adoptme}} template to {{Adoptoffer}} on the user's user page, and this will add the user to Category:Wikipedians having been offered adoption. Users that have already been offered adoption can always have a second or third offer, but by separating out those users that have not had an adoption offer yet, it is hoped that no one will go lacking.

Furthermore numerous Adopters have been adding their details to a list of users available for adopting, to offer a more personalised service and allow new users to browse through and pick their own Adopter. The quickest way to adopt though, is still to contact users at the Category:Wikipedians seeking to be adopted in Adopt-a-user.

Finally - thanks for all your hard work, keep it up - and if you have any general questions or suggestions about the further development of Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User please bring them to our talk page. Cheers Lethaniol 13:48, 13 January 2007 (UTC) reply

New Wikiproject

When you return, I would love it you would consider participating in the creation of WikiProject Mental Health. The project would deal with mental health issues from a peer/recovery perspective, and cover things that Wikiproject Psychology currently isn't covering/can't cover.

I'm glad you're setting healthy boundaries and should you never need someone to talk to off-wiki, feel free to email me. I'm a peer counselor and very active in the Mental Health community. I've been in contact with several Wikipedians who are going through similar crises and they say I've helped. NinaOdell | Talk 14:35, 16 January 2007 (UTC) reply

Quite sorry for the misunderstanding

Sorry for the misunderstanding (I know what it feels like to deal with vandals). When I put the disputed tag on for the first edit, it was due to the fact that the notible alumni are completly fake. My second edit, which I should of been more carefull when reverting the vandalism, is deleting the statement Gutendorf is a teacher, not a student, although he is 6' and about 100lbs on a good day from the textbox. When reverting, the page to which I was reverting back to had vandalism on it (the vandalism you saw), which lad you to think that I put that on. Trust me, I tried hard to keep Wikipedia free of vandals before deleting my account (well abandinging it). I was just trying to make Wikipedia better, which made a mistake, and if you don't mind, I'm going to take off some of the alumni from the list, since they are completely fake and I will get sources to you if you feel that it is needed. (already done). Again, Sorry for the misunderstanding. 75.18.228.197 04:02, 10 February 2007 (UTC) reply

Your name is still listed at Requests for an admin coach. If you are no longer looking for a coach, or you currently have one, please remove yourself from that list.

The instructions for getting or receiving a coach have changed. It's now a self-help process: just look for a coach from the list of coaches, and contact one. See the instructions on Wikipedia:Admin coaching. Good luck.

Hey

Just wanted you to know, over on the Wikipedia_talk:Reference_desk we're talking about a wikiforum where Wikipedians can migrate to and interact and talk about smart people things that we yearn to do on the reference desk, but all we're allowed to do is "provide answers," and opinions are even sometimes shunted. This kind of reminded me of Wikisocial. Also! Oh shoot, there was one more thing.. oh yeah! I see you have your 2000th up there! Was that there before? Glad you're getting up to business! :) Jeez, I wonder how many I have now. Also, one thing I think I should mention is maybe you should take off your "I'm a teenager." Just a small bit of advice based on my experience on wikipedia, not just the one guy in my RfA (thanks again for nominating me), but it's happened plenty of times that somebody kind of just ends up being a jerk. Luckily for me, they sign out of their account and go anon so nobody knows who it actually is. Jeez. How are you doing anyway? I'm doing great I guess, have I mentioned that I am now enrolled in the New College of Florida? I'm not sure if or if not. Ah! You're pretty cool, maybe we should correspond by email for non-wikipedia things? Talk pages are just fine, and you're not supposed to, but no body's going to nail you for talking about non-wikipedia things. So NCF is my favorite college in the world, and this is just the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. I decided to skip another grade, so high school (the shithole it is) ends up being only three years, and just so I get credit. I only have one class left, I have about 8 weeks to finish the last semester of English Literature 12, and that is a godsend that I will be done so fast. Ah! I feel so good I love the world. I guess I'm doing okay in the girlfriend department, pretty stressful stuff man; ever? I'm getting a MacBook (probably not pro) right before I go off to college, I wonder what the processor speeds will be then! I'm getting as much RAM as possible (I love ram :) ), and I do kind of like a big screen, but I expect a laptop to be small. Well, we haven't talked for a while huh? How's stuff going? How's school going? You never told me about your parents before. Oh! I also have a video blog now too. Mαc Δαvιs ( How's my driving?) ❖ 06:15, 29 March 2007 (UTC) reply

I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on List of Neoboard Avatars. I do not think that List of Neoboard Avatars fits any of the speedy deletion criteria because this is not a good speedy delete reason. Lists can be fine, and under the Feist decision a simple list of facts is not usually protected by coyright under US law. Whether this is ntable or not could be questioned, but that should be for an AfD discussion. I request that you consider not re-tagging List of Neoboard Avatars for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page . DES (talk) 19:20, 17 May 2007 (UTC) reply

Speedily deleting articles

Last time I went through the process of nominating a non-notable football club for deletion I was told that it should be done speedily if it does not meet defined criteria (i.e. WikiProject Football notability criteria). Since then I have deleted 20 or 30 such articles without complaint. Number 5 7 19:25, 17 May 2007 (UTC) reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Camino icon.png

Image:Camino icon.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:46, 1 June 2007 (UTC) reply
