Hi Mario1987. As nice as it is that you're welcoming new users, it'd be better if you stop your current method. Generally, we only welcome users who have made at least one (non-vandal) edit. 90% of our new accounts never edit, so welcoming them is a waste of time, energy and bandwidth. Additionally, the red-linked talk page is very useful for people dealing with vandalism. Turning it blue slows their useful work. - Excellent job, it could be compared with other football portals that are probably bigger. However, I won't contribute to that portal (or some kind of a Romanian football project, if it would exist). It's not only because I have too much work right now, but I also believe I am still being misunderstood after I did all that job on Romanian Cup 2008–09. I'm not that interested in Romanian football in general but I'm writing/editing/contributing to this season's European football articles and therefore Romanian Cup article was just part of that work, nothing more. - Hi, there is no special requirements to start checking the DYKs. All you need to do is know the rules. You can read them on the DYK page. You need to check that the article is either new, or 5x expanded the last five days (first edit on the day it is listed), that the hook is referenced (including reading the reference if it is online) and is in the article, and that the hook is no more than 200 characters. I think it should re fairly well documented on the DYK page. A tip can be to install the java script
importScript('User:Dr_pda/prosesize.js'); //[[User:Dr_pda/prosesize.js]]on your monobook page (add the above code to User:Mario1987/monobook.js). This allows you a one-click check of the readable prose length (the part that is qualifiable for DYK). I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to
the media description page and edit it to add
{{ di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. What are you doing to this list. Out of your dozens edits, I have found a few which are correct (i.e., they follow the information on this site [1]).
Most of you changes, however, appear absolutely arbitrary. Sometime you delete a middle name, sometimes you add it. Sometimes you expand an initial to the full name, in other cases you delete the initial.

Hi Mario, I do appreciate your work for DYK and have nothing against you personally. I look through many DYK noms and if I find something clear (+ or -), I reply, if not, I leave it to others. Thats why I wrote on your noms - they are lacking proper references, thats all, nothing serious or special. I don't speak Romanian, but I can read several european languages (both east and west), which make it easier for me to read some Romanian too. Cheers. - IMO, the notability of Satu Maru topics is on the edge - the mayor is notable. Colleges themselves are probably notable enough to have a WP article per each, but, the DYK hook merely listing their names is by no means notable.

- Mario, I do sympathize your efforts to let the world know more about Romania. I just feel you need to choose things which would be more interesting to outsiders to read (I mean for DYK, for WP articles being "interesting" is not so important), and which would be easier to support by independent references. I often get into such situation myself and try to find topics which are covered in English-speaking literature.
