The reason transfermarkt, the reference I removed, is not reliable is the same reason Wikipedia itself is not a reliable source. The site's database is user-edited, meaning it counts as a self-published source. I hope that clarifies things. Sir Sputnik ( talk) 00:40, 22 February 2015 (UTC) reply

I was going to say the same thing: That Wikipedia itself is not reliable for the exact same reason. To me, this is one of many things Wikipedia I disagree with. There are many self-published websites that are more reliable than many not self-published. There are many newspapers that print stories that are not even edited at all (therefore "user-edited," in a way). If this is a rule, then it is one I don't like. Yes. Sorry about the way that was written. I made it a little better. Anyhow, was simply trying to say that Howser also did work for the University of Tennessee. That fact was not in the article. The video clip I linked shows his name at the bottom, although it does not say that he was an employee of the University. Pretty sure I can find that with some digging, though. Also, I think people (especially fans of Howser) would enjoy seeing the video of him interviewing the great Doug Atkins, who is in the college and pro halls of fame. Hi. Thanks for the change of the logo. However, there is an issue with your licensing of it. It is fair use, but US public schools are not government agencies, they are quasi-governmental. You'll need to modify your licensing accordingly. Just a standard fair use logo license, just like you would use for a company, would be fine. Thanks. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Three articles you recently created, North Jackson High School, North Sand Mountain High School, Sale Creek High School, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. ( ?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed ( verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Me (the first one) and Meeanaya (the other two) moved your drafts to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption.

Please see the school article guidelines which describes how the content of school articles should be organized, with the aim of providing general guidance to editors. School stubs are to be avoided. When you feel the articles meet Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or

Unfortunately, I've never seen a citation to a plaque, so I don't know how to approach that. As for your suggestion, "instead of reverting edits, people find better links and add them", it is the responsibility of the editor who adds content to provide "an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution". (See WP:BURDEN.) If the editor who reverts happens to know a valid source that can be used, that's great, but it's not the reverting editor's responsibility to do so.
