Hello! I noticed that you made a few edits to Sierra Madre, CA. As a resident of the city, I always have it watched. However, I must ask you to take care as not to disrupt Wikipedia's encyclopedic nature. Wikipedia's main policies are NPOV, Manual of Style, and Ownership of Articles. And of course, correct grammar and spelling should always be used. Some of the edits you made used bad grammar and punctuation conventions, as well as grammar that seemed to violate Ownership of Articles. For example, you said the following in one of your edits:

(besides, the California Department of Justice's Bureau of Peace Officer Standards and 
Training would've NEVER allowed it in the first place--especially nowadays!)

is a prime example. because you used all caps in the line, another user edited it based on guidelines at Ownership of Articles and Manual of Style. Also, you didn't place the space before the opening parenthesis at the beginning of the line. Oh NO!!!...Does this mean I am ignorant about any aspect of this city?...It seems that now I'm getting severly roasted over a barbecue over a tiny tidbit of DHS life???...

Now, I will try to humbly apologize for offending not only the DHSPD, but also the City Council, Chamber of Commerce, and any other high-ranking city official in any city in the Coachella Valley that I have upset...

Has anyone noticed that there wasn't any mention of the excellent water that also put DHS on the map(the water that has won numerous awards at the Berkeley Springs(West Virginia) International Water Tasting competition?

Oh, no!!!I'm so sorry I have disrespected the people of Sierra Madre(and its Police Department) with what I thought was a nice tidbit of information...Now I'm afraid that if I say anything about any city in the San Gabriel Valley that may have easily upset anyone for that matter, it will also be deleted within minutes(even though it is factual)!

Now, I'm just about to cry over this stupid and serious offense I have made to my neighbors to the northwest!!!

Please accept my humble apologies over this...

Who is this guy who keeps demanding instant "literary proof" NOT from ANY website?...every time I try to input "proof" of whatever I type in, he's not satisfied with website links at all; to him, they have to be actual books registered w/ the Library of Congress available ONLY at actual libraries(NOT Barnes and Noble or Amazon!)...sigh, I just can't please anyone anymore...I try to follow the rules, but end up getting "e-yelled at"!...

Look, I mean no disrespect, but even if I used my "sandbox" exclusively instead, he'd still insist on "instant literary proof" on ANYTHING I write or else...please don't be so quick in your harshness, but I'm trying to follow the rules here, OK???...now I'm starting to cry over this(sob!)... (Reposting from here) I'm not trying to be harsh, but many things just need citation. I don't have a clear memory of exactly what I edited that was yours, except the San Jacinto text and that one item about racism in the Adelanto police. If it's notable enough for the world to know, and if you have a credible citation, include it, but otherwise it's accusatory. The "claim that city officials deny" text in the San Jacinto article is similar; it implies someone's lying, which is accusatory, unless it's both credibly cited and notable enough for the world to know. In both cases, though, I merely asked for citation, which is not "you're wrong" or "you're vandalizing" or "you're not welcome." Wikipedia just demands that information generally be backed up by citation, and it also demands a neutral point of view.

No need to restrict yourself to the sandbox—if you have a quality edit to make, put it on the main page, preview it, and post it. If the information you post is very basic, not controversial, well-known to people familiar with the subject, etc., you would probably be fine with not citing sources for everything you post. But generally make your additions notable and referenced. Especially if you're talking about identifiable people—don't go into details unless relevant, and give a credible source to show what you say is true.
