Citation titles

Hello @ Amandine23. I am @Archer1234. I noticed several of your recent edits that added citations where they are needed. Thank you for doing that.

However, the |title= parameter in the citations is not being used correctly. |title= should be used for the title of the article, not the publication in which the article appears. To include the publication use |website=, |work=, |newspaper=, |magazine=, |encyclopedia=, etc. depending on the citation template you are using (i.e., for {{ cite web}} use |website=; for {{ cite news}}, use |newspaper=, etc.). Also, you can use the |publisher= parameter to indicate who the publisher is.

You can learn more about how to cite a source at WP:CITE. If you have any questions about this for me, you can ask them here or on my talk page. Alternatively, you can ask questions at The Teahouse, where experienced editors are available to answer questions. Thank you and happy editing.  — Archer1234 ( t· c) 14:07, 23 April 2024 (UTC) reply
