Setting a custom color in monobook.css only changes the text color and not the highlight color. I tried adding a background-color property but that didn't do anything. No matter what I do the cyan doesn't change. Any ideas?

There's a typo in your monobook.css syntax. There mustn't be a semicolon between the background-color setting and the !important. It should work if you change that. -- ais523 18:01, 2 January 2008 ( U T C)

I notice that some admins delete their user page. They keep their admin status. However, because redlinks lead to &action=edit&redlink=1, it does not highlight.
