Yup you're absolutely right, good catch. I have responded on the Talk page. The cite needs redoing anyway but I am not sure if the statement can even survive – as you point out what it actually says at Oxford Dictionaries undermines the whole thing so it perhaps needs some mealy-mouthed compromise, or removing. Talking of which, I don't want to cause offence but the all-caps heading is seen as WP:SHOUTING and I have changed it, which is strictly speaking against the rules even though I think it's a good idea.
