Welcome to Wikipedia!

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions! I'm Paine Ellsworth, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge. Although you're free to perform most tasks on Wikipedia without registering, it's highly recommended you create an account as there are many added benefits. It's free, simple, and quick to do.
Some pages of helpful information to get you started:
  Introduction to Wikipedia
  The five pillars of Wikipedia
  Editing tutorial
  How to edit a page
  Simplified Manual of Style
  The basics of Wikicode
  How to develop an article
  How to create an article
  Help pages
  What Wikipedia is not
Some common sense Do's and Don'ts:
  Do be bold
  Do assume good faith
  Do be civil
  Do keep cool!
Do maintain a neutral point of view
  Don't spam
  Don't infringe copyright
Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest
  Don't vandalize
  Don't get blocked
If you need further help, you can:
  Ask a question
or even:
Ask an experienced editor to "adopt" you

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page, and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
  Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
  Help contribute to articles

  Perform maintenance tasks
Become a member of a project that interests you
  Help design new templates

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your IP address (linked to your contributions page. However, if you create an account, your IP address will be hidden and you will be able to build a custom signature that can link to your own user page), a link to this (this IP's talk) page, and a timestamp.

The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. If you create an account, you can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you could put a link to it on your user page.

Just FYI, the template {{ R from plural}} that you used on the Draft:Drafts redirect should only be used on redirects that are in mainspace and should not be used in other namespaces. If used in namespaces other than mainspace, it will not categorize those redirects into Category:Redirects from plurals. It will populate C:WRONG instead. I read the reply, I don't think there's anything else to say, looks like the disambiguation page will be the primary. On a side note why don't you consider creating an account as you seem to like it here and your pretty efficient, it doesn't require any personal information. ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 06:53, 3 January 2014 (UTC) reply
I haven't really thought of a need for one, since one can even create WikiProjects through WP:AFC, and the new WP:Drafts namespace restores much of what was lost a few years ago when IP-creation was disabled. -- 76.65.128.112 ( talk) 07:02, 3 January 2014 (UTC) reply

RfC concerning the article name for Broadway

Because you were involved in a previous discussion on the subject, or related to the subject, please see RfC: What is the best name for the article about the street called "Broadway" which originates in Manhattan? BMK, Grouchy Realist ( talk) 02:35, 7 January 2014 (UTC) reply

Silicone Valley

You commented at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2013 December 25#Silcone Valley. That discussion was closed with consensus to retarget the Silicone Valley redirect to Silicon Valley. Your opinion would now be welcome about whether Silcon Valley should have a hatnote pointing to San Fernando Valley#Adult ednterainment, the former target of the redirect and only other notable meaning of the term. Please comment at Talk:Silicon Valley#Hatnote, thanks. Thryduulf ( talk) 23:53, 11 January 2014 (UTC) reply
