I don't think a close and move on the same day that an article is nominated through WP:RM is a good closure. Since the RM process is supposed to run for atleast 7 days, could you revert what you did, and reopen the discussion (to run for 7 days from the date of reopening) ? Or could you provide a policy-based rationale for the early close and move? Since you didn't leave a rationale for your early close, or a rationale for the move, it's a headscratcher as to what parameters you used to determine that it should be moved, and to the name it was moved to. -- 76.65.131.248 ( talk) 22:42, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

You are prodding too many articles in too short a space of time. Not only are you creating a lot of work for other editors you are clearly not spending enough time looking at these articles and considering alternatives to deletion before tagging them. I am a brand new "editor" at Wikipedia and I am still unsure how to use this interface, it is a bit bewildering, however I have join in on commenting because they did delete Sky Italia channel page which I still need for work. I am very upset about that. How can we make sure that useful items are recognized as useful even if they piss people off? Thanks for specifying which article you meant; a db-repost is useless for a mass AFD without a link and without anything clear in the text of the page. The difference between the two is that User:2679D/List of StarHub TV and mio TV channels was created after the deletion discussion, while Polo's sandbox wasn't. The deletion of a page with certain content definitely doesn't mean that we automatically delete the same content in other previously-existing pages that weren't part of the discussion; sometimes the deletion reason is applicable in both situations (e.g. copyvios), but it's not here. Imagine if User:Nyttend/Ohio NRHP/Pickaway were in mainspace: it's definitely not encyclopedic, and it would deserve to be deleted, but it's fine in userspace because it helps me to coordinate tasks unobtrusively, and it therefore wouldn't be deleted just because the mainspace page was. However, the things you named are TV shows. There is a difference as in the TV shows this template is used to describe what happened in an episode. In this case, it does not work with SNL as SNL has notes, not episode desription. It was better the other way as right next to the episode the notes were given as what the special guests were, etc. Putting it one next to each other makes it more confusing then putting it one under another in this white table instead of this. Either way SNL 38 and 37 are the only ones that have the new layout so. Interesting rename. I'm not sure, but think it makes sense. But this is surely not correct. There are two completely different articles -- the one you just renamed to Gun laws in the United States by state, about the state laws, and Gun law in the United States, about the federal laws. The old name Gun laws in the United States (by state) should definitely redirect to Gun laws in the United States by state. Hi Wikipedical. I appreciate more eyes on the Talk:The_Sword_of_Shannara#Sources_for_claims_in_the_plot_summaries question. But I'm a bit uncertain on which way your comment is intended to go, relative to the two opinions that were stated immediately preceding your comment.
I'm feeling a bit disoriented by the discussion there, as this is the first time I've every heard an editor take a position that original research plot summaries of fiction are okay on the Wikipedia, and that the core policy WP:V does not apply to those parts of the encyclopedia.
Moreoverr, since that editor seems not to want to follow WP:BRD procedure, and discuss for a while to see if a consensus can be reached, and just wants to revert, I don't think it is a productive idea for me to revert him again to try to keep the focus on the Discussion/Consensus-building.
At any rate, a clarification of your comment would be much appreciated. And if your view is that the recent revert of the article does not represent policy, then perhaps you could consider reverting and bringing it back to the Talk page for more consensus building. Alright, I am prepared to make a compramise or a an agreement with you. I would like for you to stop doing large scale edits to the page, which could end in us both being blocked from editing, which nobody wants, and I believe these are reasonable suggestions.
Then again, I do not have the authority to make such edits without any sort of permission, and neither do you (not trying to be disrespectful). Many users agree with this statement, but that does not necessarily mean they disagree with your decisions, and another has agreed with me that you should check the talk page first for discussion. I apologize for the Lost (TV series) move; I saw that there was no previous move to the title and therefore thought that I would be bold, but I should have seen the discussion on the talk page. I have moved the talk page back to where it was. Do you know if a move to the main Lost title has been discussed? I do not find this middle-of-the-road, partial-disambiguation title to be adequate.
