Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at
John II of France. Your edits appear to be
disruptive and have been or will be
reverted.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Eric talk 15:40, 21 February 2024 (UTC)

You may be
blocked from editing without further warning the next time you
disrupt Wikipedia. You seem to have resumed your campaign, despite it still being under discussion at
Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Infoboxes#Replacement_of_signature_images_with_svg_derivations. I suggest you slow down.

Hello- In the six weeks you have been on Wikipedia, you have conducted a campaign to change the signatures in the infoboxes of articles on historical figures to svg versions, changes which in many if not all cases do not constitute improvements, and each time with no helpful edit summary, nor any discussion. Such sweeping changes should be discussed in the community before being implemented. Taking the signature of Hugues Capet as an example: An image of the original signature as it appears on a 10th-century parchment (below left) is preferable to the artificial, stylized derivation with which you replaced the original (below right).
Please slow down and take the time to learn how collaboration works on Wikipedia; you could start at Help:Getting_started. And please always explain your edits: Help:Edit summary. Eric talk 15:18, 24 February 2024 (UTC)

Johnuniq (

Attempting to impose a fait accompli by changing multiple articles when other editors have objected is highly disruptive. You are able to comment on other pages and start dispute resolution regarding the problem. The issue of whether signatures of historical figures should be replaced with an improved drawing must be resolved via community discussion, not edit warring such as has occurred at Frederick the Great ( 11:57, 20 February 2024 + 00:52, 25 February 2024 + 10:31, 27 February 2024).
