Misc

Hello @ Tumbuka Arch, a Flickr user with the same username as you posted this image of what appears to be a dead body, claiming that it was Saulos Chilima's corpse after he died in an airplane crash. Did you take this photo? If so, I'll transfer it to Commons, as it is marked with an acceptable free license. I just want to make sure it wasn't a user that happened to have the same username as you who was Flickrwashing. Thanks, Bremps ... 02:46, 30 June 2024 (UTC) reply

@ Bremps You may transfer to commons though the image is very disturbing to some viewers. It is not the other user :) Tumbuka Arch ( talk) 13:47, 30 June 2024 (UTC) reply
Thanks for your contribution to free knowledge. I added your photo to this page. I have to ask, though, how did you get so close to the body to photograph it? Were there no first responders or police services present? Bremps ... 20:07, 30 June 2024 (UTC) reply
@ Bremps Please use email. Also, I don't recommend adding it to the subject's article(s) as it may degrade one's dignity, even if they are not alive. Subject may still have a family and I am sure it is not respectiful to add such image to the article as the subject is showing undies, etc. Tumbuka Arch ( talk) 07:23, 1 July 2024 (UTC) reply

Concerns

Hello Tumbuka Arch, I am a little concerned about some material you authored. For instance, in Abraham Simama, you state that he has faced corruption allegations without providing a source. These are incredibly serious allegations, which we simply can't leave on an article without a source, even if we do specify that he has never been convicted. Furthermore, in Zambia Music Awards, you cite this article for the group's mission statement, which is frowned upon in Wikipedia policy. You also omit criticism of the awards, which is what most of the article is about. In Doug Salati, you describe Sendak as someone who has an "ability to create fantastical worlds and characters that are both whimsical and grounded in reality", which is a matter of opinion rather than fact, and who is not described as such in the source. Please don't see this as an attack, but just some friendly advice. All information must follow reliable sources closely. Thanks. Bremps ... 03:14, 30 June 2024 (UTC) reply

@ Bremps Thanks for pointing this. I will make sure I fix that and avoid the same mistake the other time. And I also know that BLP is brittle as it needs every tiny statement to be sourced, which surely is what I'm gonna be doing from now on. Tumbuka Arch ( talk) 13:58, 30 June 2024 (UTC) reply
