Bkissin ( talk) 19:24, 3 March 2022 (UTC)Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Hard Way (1980 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Hard Way. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, Tobyhoward,
Thank you for creating Noto: An Unexplored Corner of Japan.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
All 3 References are copies of the book. Need some independent sourcing to establish notability beyond it's old and exists
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Slywriter}}

Hello. Regarding your edits last year to The Hard Way, per WP:DAB, we should only include one link per line on disambiguation pages, as more than one is considered to be confusing to readers. Thanks. Ss 112 07:26, 31 March 2023 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:Decadence film Theatrical release poster (1994).jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- Minorax«¦ talk¦» 09:36, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:Man of Africa film frame (1953).png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq ( talk) 15:16, 31 January 2024 (UTC)

MOS:LEAD says, "Do not overload the first sentence by describing everything notable about the subject ... Avoid cluttering the first sentence with a long parenthesis containing alternative spellings, pronunciations, etc., which can make the sentence difficult to actually read; this information should be placed elsewhere.
" Although it is common to include alternative names, people don't need to know incredibly obvious things like "it's also sometimes referred to without a definite article". As the MOS once again says, "Use the first sentence of the article to provide relevant information that is not already given by the title of the article.
" Thus, you don't need to tell people things that are already in the title. If the title is "Zebra Farm" in the US and "Crazy Horses" in the UK, that should be mentioned. One of them isn't going to be in the title, and people may be confused if they end up at an article with a different title than they searched for.
