The article The Messenger (2018 video game) you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:The Messenger (2018 video game) for comments about the article, and Talk:The Messenger (2018 video game)/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has never appeared on the Main Page as a "Did you know" item, and has not appeared within the last year either as "Today's featured article", or as a bold link under "In the news" or in the "On this day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear at DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On this day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Thank you for improving article quality in November! - Vacation pictures offered if you click on songs, and my story today is a DYK hook from 13 years ago OTD: about the great music at one of my churches. -- Gerda Arendt ( talk) 16:41, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
You are a remarkable editor in many ways. You would be a good administrator, in my opinion, and appear to be well qualified. You personify an administrator without tools and have gained my support already! |

Good luck. You've come a long way since I first met you. Scorpions1325 ( talk) 00:27, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
I don't know you but I hope you like kittens. It's clear you deserve something nice. Whether or not your RfA succeeds, your contributions to this project are seen and appreciated. Hang in there! Generalrelative ( talk) 02:32, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
Jumping into this thread to add another "hang in there". I'm dismayed to see that someone suggested - almost demanded, honestly - that you withdraw. If you decide you want to end it early, I hope it isn't because of comments like that. You've got 100+ people standing for you. -- asilvering ( talk) 18:20, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
You got this! I just know you do! Scorpions1325 ( talk) 19:56, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
You seem conflicted on how to respond to the situation at your RFA. Just note that any future attempts by you to rectify the situation will be used against you no matter how good it is. I would advise against commenting about the apology until the RFA is over. Scorpions1325 ( talk) 22:54, 7 February 2024 (UTC)

Hello The Night Watch, I am pleased to report that I have closed your RfA as successful. Good luck with the toolkit, and please let me know if you have any questions. Welcome to the admin corps. Cheers, 28bytes ( talk) 00:06, 11 February 2024 (UTC)

You've been through by far the most toxic RfA in a couple of years. It's incredible what some are willing to do to people who simply offer to volunteer for this project. Anyway, you've made it. Well deserved. Wish you smooth sailing with the tools. — kashmīrī TALK 00:18, 11 February 2024 (UTC)

The best way to deal with opposes (in the wake of what to me seemed like a puzzling pile-on over a single fairly minor incident) is to take a bit of time away to get yourself back into a better state of mind, and then treat them as feedback, which is always a gift even when it smarts. Best wishes to you. Valereee ( talk) 02:25, 11 February 2024 (UTC)

The 2024 WikiCup is off to a flying start, with 135 participants. This is the largest number of participants we have seen since 2017.
Our current leader is newcomer Generalissima ( submissions), who has one FA on John Littlejohn (preacher) and 10 GAs and 12 DYKs mostly on New Zealand coinage and Inuit figures. Here are some more noteworthy scorers:
As a reminder, competitors may submit work for the first round until 23:59 (UTC) on 27 February, and the second round starts 1 March. Remember that only the top 64 scoring competitors will make it through to the second round; currently, competitors need at least 15 points to progress. If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, and you hope to get it promoted before the end of the round, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAN, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges ( Cwmhiraeth ( talk · contribs), Epicgenius ( talk · contribs), and Frostly ( talk · contribs)) are reachable on their talk pages. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove your name from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. The Resilient Barnstar | |
This RfA process is broken. Each individual oppose/support is reasonable on their own, but the collective pile-on effect is not ideal and scales this proportion, including your need to expand on your apology. The vast majority of editors recognize your qualification for adminship. The opposers' rationales are thoughtful, and I am confident you will take their feedback. Sadly it is also necessary to say this, but I would avoid engaging with this post or any other comments about the topic, but wanted you to at least acknowledge the stress you're going through, and encourage you to stay resilient and stick with this. Cheers! ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 23:03, 7 February 2024 (UTC) |

Hi, I noticed you removed the Music section from the Shadows over Loathing article. I understand that Reddit may not be reliable, but It's not like it's some redditor saying "oh earth flat lol", it's stating how they learned that there is dynamic music. I would really like to keep the section, but I understand one guy on Reddit talking about this isn't reliable (although why would someone lie about something like that?) anyways, if we could find video footage of the game itself of dynamic music in place, then would that suffice as a source?
