You appear to have been on Wikipedia for some time, so I'm slightly confused as to why you need adoption. Nevertheless, what exactly are you looking for with your adoption? What areas are you struggling with? I'll see if I can help out. --

Hi,
Thanks for your message. You are correct, I've been a member for some time but not seriously. Recently I've decided that I want to be more active and I am
building up a collection of articles that are relevant to my interests, which I want to contribute to. But I am strugging with finding out how to do basic things sometimes like best ways to add referencing, create galleries, etc. I thought maybe by joining the adoption thing I would feel more comfortably just asking them from someone without bothering them too much. I think I would pick up things pretty quickly after a short while. I hope that makes sense? Cheers --

Yep, that sort of thing I'm pretty certain I can help out with. I'm online almost constantly on all days (barring every second Friday and every Saturday). I have just taken on another adoptee (my first) but I'm reasonably confident I can cope with two people at once. If not, I'll find a co-adopter for one or both of you. So, do you want me to adopt you? --

How nice of you, yes, that would be great. By the way, I have had some training in counselling if you would like to chat sometime please let me know (about your recent loss?), I can give you my skype. Thanks, --

It depends on where the information comes from. For online content, the most common, it is {{
cite web}}. The second most common (in the articles I edit, anyway) is {{
cite journal}}. A full list can be found
here. Let me know if you have any trouble with them.
Gallery template? I don't generally have much to do with pictures, but I can bludgeon problems better well. What context is it in? What article is it for?
