Your recent article submission to
Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Kashmorwiki were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject
qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published,
reliable,
secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the
guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see
technical help and learn about
mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This is a case of
WP:REFMOMB. Some of the sources are giving the subject some trivial coverage. The rest is not needed here. This draft should be resubmitted after removing all the unnecessary citations
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your recent article submission to
Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Kashmorwiki was:
This submission appears to
read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a
neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of
independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's
verifiability policy and the
notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

The comment the reviewer left was:
This is a
well disguised advert. This is
WP:BOMBARD If it can be rescued, so be it, but adverts have no place on Wikipedia. You have been told about the welter of references before. Also, what is he notable for?

There is nothing about this corporation that suggests it to be other than
run of the mill. You need to show how it passes
WP:NCORP which is hard to do.
As with your other drafts (etc) this contains
WP:BOMBARD, which shows us that it is an advert

I've made some coments--I think the article can possibly be rescued--as the continuation of the Rockefeller family office it is not run of the mill. SInce I'm interested in this corner of the financial industry, I've decided to edit it. Naturally, I'm removing excessive use of the firm name, details of the board of directors, and unreliable references. If I complete it to my own satisfaction, I'll accept it, and if necessary defend it. If you want to help, remove about half the references--everything not essential to the notability . As I've said, if I'm interested in the subject, I will work with anyone who will work with me. Emphasis on the with/ . (se also my comment on Fleming). DGG (

Hi
DGG, thank you very much for your assistance on RCM. I see you have already trimmed the article and removed a number of citations.
Is there any assistance that I can be? Would you like me to remove further citations?
Let me know, and thanks again.

I would like you to remove all unnnecessary citations from all. your articles and drafts. If there are several references for aparticular point, keep only the best. If the ref. is a press release, remove it--if there's no other source, consider removing what it references. DGG (

Will do, thanks.

Hi
DGG, I have trimmed the citations further on
Draft:Rockefeller Capital Management, so that there is no more than one citation per fact. If or when you are able, please take a look at it and let me know if I may be of any further assistance. Thank you very much.
TerryBG (

Trimming the citations is all very well, but you need to engage with the advice, not just with the advisor. The quality of the remaining citations is poor. We need quality of reference, not quantity.
We require references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple
secondary sources which are WP:RS please. See
WP:42. Please also see
WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and
WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this draft to be accepted. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today.
