Radio Wikipedia

Okay I know what your doing. Where are you hiding the new episodes? Gears of War 2 23:54, 31 July 2008 (UTC) reply

Hi. I'm sorry... hiding episodes? Yes i do not like the iTunes idea but i have been away from Wikipedia for a short period. At the moment Radio Wikipedia has been put as historical, since it has become inactive. Many issues by Red Thunder have been removed for copyright violations. Since the project has become inactive without my help, i'll return to it today for a new episode. OK? StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 10:51, 1 August 2008 (UTC) reply
Sorry if I offended you. Just wanted to know what was going on. It was more of a joke rather than trying to make you mad. Cheers. Gears of War 2 16:05, 1 August 2008 (UTC) reply
No It's Fine. StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 19:33, 1 August 2008 (UTC) reply
Is there a way to obtain the issue of Webuser in the United States that contained the Radio Wikipedia mentioning? Red Thunder 11:20, 3 August 2008 (UTC) reply
Ok. I'll try. Red Thunder 12:20, 3 August 2008 (UTC) reply
It is only a paragraph. StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 12:21, 3 August 2008 (UTC) reply
I would like to clarify that I also had to delete one episode produced by you as well stewie. Please make sure you clarify this when telling other users about what happened. Its unfair for you to place it all on redthunders shoulders. Seddσn talk Editor Review 19:05, 3 August 2008 (UTC) reply
Yes, using RedThunder's trust! I trusted him into making these public domain. StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 19:13, 3 August 2008 (UTC) reply

A friendly warning

Stewie, I've been taking a great deal of interest in WP:RADWP and the goings-on at WT:RADWP. I am concerned that you feel that you have some special status within that project because you created the page. Alas, this is not so - yet you are acting like you are in charge, dictating rules, removing contributors without so much as a word of discussion, etc. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort: just as we cannot individually own articles, we can't have hierarchical groupings where people "own" projects either. For an example of why this doesn't work here, go and have a look at the wreckage that was WP:ESPERANZA, a similarly hierarchical group who appointed members, etc. My point is not that anyone should be allowed to upload anything, but that you should come to agreements via WP:CONSENSUS. Don't try to dictate alone what rules are applied, and where. Best wishes Fritzpoll ( talk) 09:39, 4 August 2008 (UTC) reply

Could you explain to me why? Reporters have agreed I am the founder and head reporter. No, this doesn't give me special status. However, sound is much harder to edit than text. Instead of "editing" clips, any user can contribute to them. But still they can't put them seleves in charge of the project. StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 11:11, 4 August 2008 (UTC) reply
It's partly that sort of language that I mean - "in charge£. It's fine to be the one who has volunteered to do the editing together of clips. It's another to give yourself the special status of a title like "Founder". It's another thing altogether to take that extra step and starting to kick contributors off "your" project without discussing it first - that's not consensus building: that's verging on treating it like your own personal playground. All I'm saying is try to do more consensus-building rather than dictating activity Fritzpoll ( talk) 11:22, 4 August 2008 (UTC) reply
Founder only means the one who makes. I founded the project. StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 12:26, 4 August 2008 (UTC) reply
Yet does that mean you can do whatever you want with the project? Shapiros10 contact me My work 12:27, 4 August 2008 (UTC) reply
Shapiros has echoed my sentiments on this one. It is alright to say "I am the founder of Radio Wikipedia", but you seem to have made this a title and conferred powers upon yourself as a result. All I'm saying is that these powers do not exist and you have no more right to make rules at Radio Wikipedia than I do. Fritzpoll ( talk) 12:30, 4 August 2008 (UTC) reply

Stewiegriffin92j ( talk · contribs). Hi Stewie, do you know what's up with this account? Thanks, Darkspots ( talk) 23:54, 6 August 2008 (UTC) reply

As you can see, excluding me, there are 14 StewieGriffin accounts. I have no idea what's up with this account. Why? StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 10:00, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply
And to be honest, if users are trying to accuse me of sockpuppetry, I don't do bios. StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 10:03, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply
Nobody's accusing you of sockpuppetry. Seriously. I didn't know your username was based on the Family Guy character until I looked at the other StewieGriffin names—I don't watch television, I thought you invented the name. I thought it could be somebody spoofing your username, messing with you. If a new account, User:Darkspots92j, popped up and started making edits, I'd really want to know about it. You might want to put something on your userpage for out-of-it types like me, but maybe I'm the statistical outlier here. Hope that didn't bother you too much. WikiUpdate

Please dont mess around with the page, however GF your edit was. WikiUpdate is something anyone can contribute to, but we meant audio recordings, not the page. Ironho lds 10:48, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply

There's no need to act like a baby and leave me a standardised warning message to show off. I'm not saying you can't, but think of it like a userpage. You're perfectly allowed to edit someones userpage but it's normally polite to leave them a little note asking to do so or telling them you've done so. Ironho lds 10:57, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply
Come on, one word. StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 12:36, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply

Suggestion

Rather than nominating each other for deletion or posting silly changes to spite each other, can the users working at WikiUpdate and Radio Wikipedia simply agree to stay away from each other in terms of discussing it? If this escalates to an AN/I report or similar then everyone looks bad. I'm not interested in petty games and arguing, i'm here to edit the encyclopedia and make some podcasts on the way, and I'm sure you are too, so if we can't get on can we at least set up some kind of invisible DMZ? Ironho lds 11:47, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply

This will seem nasty, but can't you lot shut up and work! We're here to build the project not go on about podcasts. I reckon WikiUpdate is bascially a copy of Radio Wikipedia and that is my view. StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 12:50, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply
And you're entitled to that view, but if you're so interested in working then don't disrupt the system just to try and cause trouble for us. I've asked you nicely to stop disrupting our running because you don't like how it's going, but if you're so interested in "building the project" then stop interfering like a five year old. I'd also like to point out the double standard of the houst of Radio Wikipedia accusing us of "going on about podcasts". Ironho lds 12:58, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply

Wiki Update

Okay quit acting so immature StewieGriffin!. This is why we younger editors get critised. Just because WP:RWP got lost in WP:WUP rise, doesnt mean you start givng immature warnings, immature MFDs, and immature actitions that make a bad name for younger editors. And trust me, ageism is not fun. Gears of War 2 12:56, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply

And why did you insult me and Red Thunder? Seriously, quit your bellyaching and edit the encyclopedia. Shapiros10 contact me My work 12:57, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply
End this now. Stop it. It's not helping anyone. That's to both parties. Leave each other alone please. PeterSymonds (talk) 12:59, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply
Sorry but not so. We have already ended this. Were over it, but StewieGriffin!, he keeps dragging it out. Gears of War 2 13:01, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply
Everyone just don't respond then. He's entitled to his opinion, we're entitled to disagree with it, but this doesn't need to turn into a big deal. If we can't all get along lets simply avoid each other rather than this turning into a He said/She said situation. Ironho lds 13:02, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply
I have given my view. You are entitled to your views. CAN WE END THIS NOW??? StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 13:04, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply
And GoW, why do you keep saying WP:RWP (Wikipedia:Redirects with Possibilites)? StewieGriffin! • Talk Sign Listen 13:05, 7 August 2008 (UTC) reply
