About this

Sorry about that, I hope the link on star wars is ok, I added it today. It does have to do with Star Wars.....

thanks

The page you linked to is only a forum dedicated to a game related to Star Wars. That link might fit on the Star Wars Battlefront page, but it doesn't contain information specific to Star Wars that isn't on any of the other pages.

IS there anywhere else I can put it?

Having Stuff Deleted

I am sorry, but why is like a whole bunch of stuff getting deleted that IS useful?

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! -- SineBot ( talk) 11:16, 23 November 2007 (UTC) reply

Sorry about that I just added my own signature after someone had eddited my last post.

Do i need to do this on ALL my edits? or just talk pages? --Stealth500 11:20, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Just on talk pages. Signatures should NOT be added in articles. Guy Harris ( talk) 18:42, 23 November 2007 (UTC) reply

What Should I edit?

I was wondering what Wikipedia would like me to edit.....

Thanks

Regarding the Redirect of Corn Maze

Stealth500, since there's already an existing, usable article at corn maze, please add to that one. Creating an article with a new name on the same subject as another article could cause confusion. Thanks. Pishogue ( talk) 03:12, 25 November 2007 (UTC) reply

Recent edits

Please be aware that article space is for article comments. Things like "See the talk page" on Imperial Pilot is inappropriate content. If you want to create an article, I'd suggest starting a draft in your user space and soliciting feedback. Similarly, "If you're looking for something else, see Star Wars disambiguation" is an unencyclopedic tone. In general, it might be worthwhile for you to check out the guidelines for writing about fiction, the Wikipedia manual of style and the notability guidelines for elements of fiction. Happy editing! -- EEMIV ( talk) 02:24, 4 December 2007 (UTC) reply

Imperial Pilot

The subject "Imperial Pilot" does not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. If you can think of a more appropriate redirect target, then enter it. However, the content your placing on the page does not meet Wikipedia's basic guidelines for article or even stub content. Again, please look at WP:MOS. -- EEMIV ( talk) 02:28, 4 December 2007 (UTC) reply

I will go do that, Sorry for the inconvenience again. By the way, I added Star Wars (disambiguation) on the "See Also" part, hope thats ok.....

I have redirected Imperial Pilot to Imperial Navy (Star Wars)#Imperial pilots, since that's where we have a paragraph of info on them. I assume that's the right people ("Imperial pilots are the soldiers who fly Imperial craft such as TIE Fighters and TIE Bombers of the Imperial Navy..") -- Stormie 05:43, 4 December 2007 (UTC) reply
Yes that is correct, thanks for doing that, May I ask HOW you did it.....? Thanks! -- Stealth500! 11:10, 4 December 2007 (UTC) reply
Well, here's the current content of Imperial Pilot:
#redirect [[Imperial Navy (Star Wars)#Imperial pilots]]
"#redirect" means "redirect anyone who comes to this page", and it sends them to Imperial Navy (Star Wars), with the "#Imperial pilots" bit of the link meaning "go down to the Imperial pilots subheading in that article". :-) -- Stormie 11:29, 4 December 2007 (UTC) reply
I new about the redirecting but didn't know how to get it exactley there, thanks! -- Stealth500! 11:31, 4 December 2007 (UTC) reply

Battlefront

I have reverted this edit, which restored original research and non- neutral-point-of-view material. If you want to include this kind of opinion, it needs to be cited to reliable sources. -- EEMIV ( talk) 00:27, 6 December 2007 (UTC) reply

I have again removed. It has already had a flag asking for sources since March; I suspect these sources don't exist. The burden of proof is for editors adding or restoring material (e.g. you, having now twice restored it) to substantiate any claims an article makes, such as criticism. You haven't provided the sources, therefore the material is inappropriate. However, I have nevertheless pasted it to the talk page asking that if anyone can substantiate the criticism claims in whole or in part that they restore the material.
On a side note, please pay heed to some editors talk-page requests, such as mine displayed prominantly at the top, that "If I left a message on your talk page, please respond there." This allows conversation threads to appear in one whole place rather than scattered across two talk pages. -- EEMIV ( talk) 00:34, 6 December 2007 (UTC) reply
"From Star Wars: Battlefront game" and "This has been noted in many reviews and by players" doesn't meet the project's standards for citing sources. The game description of which levels do and don't have vehicles probably doesn't need to be cited -- probably that element of plot summary doesn't need to be there at all. "This has been noted in many reviews and by players" is an empty statement -- what reviews? where? Players' opinions aren't any sort of reliable source. Again, please look at the reliable source guidelines/policy. -- EEMIV ( talk) 00:46, 6 December 2007 (UTC) reply

Vlad

Your enthusiasm for adding content is commendable. However, you should familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's guidelines for notability in fiction. Vlad is not the subject of any third-party commentary or review; the "article" as it is simply regurgitates plot, which doesn't meet Wikipedia's writing-about-fiction guidelines. Unless you can offer information from a real-world perspective -- how the character was created, how it's been the subject of commentary or review, etc. -- then there shouldn't be an article. Even then, such information might be more appropriate to include in the article about the text itself. I'm going to restore the redirect; if you can offer that real-world information, then that'd be great. Perhaps you can put start up a scratchpad at User:Stealth500/Vlad Vladikoff‎; I or another editor would be happy to take a look. -- EEMIV ( talk) 01:46, 6 December 2007 (UTC) reply

Would it be ok to undo that move copy the text and put it in the Horton Hears a Who! topic? -- Stealth500! ( talk) 11:26, 6 December 2007 (UTC) reply
Probably not, because that material is just plot summary. -- EEMIV ( talk) 12:30, 6 December 2007 (UTC) reply
Where could it be put? -- Stealth500! ( talk) 12:37, 6 December 2007 (UTC) reply
Considering that it is just plot summary on one character, probably nowhere. See WP:IINFO. -- EEMIV ( talk) 13:31, 6 December 2007 (UTC) reply
Would it be possible to start a WIKIProject of taking Seuss stories and in a topic righting a little about all of them? -- Stealth500! 03:12, 7 December 2007 (UTC) reply
I dunno. I'd suggest posting a question at WT:BOOKS. -- EEMIV ( talk) 04:34, 7 December 2007 (UTC) reply

-- Stealth500! ( talk) 23:14, 1 January 2008 (UTC)==How Do I archive== How do I archive a talk page? reply

Easiest way I've found is to move the talk page to your desired archive page name. Remove the redirect that the move creates, and voila you have a blank talk page again. -- EEMIV ( talk) 23:46, 19 December 2007 (UTC) reply
Don't really understand..... -- Stealth500! ( talk) 23:14, 1 January 2008 (UTC) reply
Between the History and Watch tabs at the top is a Move tab. Click it. Move the talk page to a new location, e.g. User talk:Stealth500/Archive 1. This will move the page AND create a redirect to the new location on your current (e.g. this) page. Come back to the "regular" talk page ( User talk:Stealth500), edit it to remove the redirect and add whatever header information you want (e.g. "welcome to my talk page," a link to the archived page, etc.) -- EEMIV ( talk) 04:15, 2 January 2008 (UTC) reply

I tried doing that but it didn't do it..... -- Stealth500! ( talk) 13:25, 2 January 2008 (UTC) reply
