Re: Awan (Pakistan)

Thank you for your message on my talkpage.

  • I have removed the entire list of "notable" Awans again because despite your edit summary there is not one citation related to the list which could show that any of those people are both notable and members of the Awan tribe.
  • Please provide reliable third-party sources for each individual, noting that the four existing references in the article are not related to the list of people and the five books in the bibliography are fine but we need precise citations.
  • Please also note that whether or not this is a caste issue does not mean that I or any other Wikipedia editor cannot edit the article. Caste may be significant in India and Pakistan but here on Wikipedia we do not adhere to social customs of individual countries. Write about caste by all means but don't attempt to censor anyone with it.
