You said "Either this article should be deleted for violating wikipedia policy or redirect" after essentially deleting the Mass Effect 3 article.
Which policy did the article violate? Chiefmartinez ( talk) 04:45, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
"the rise of Christianity" and "the rise of the Christian religion" are both grammatically correct. ("the Christianity" is bad grammar, however.) I'd prefer "Christian religion" because a few international readers may not know that Christianity is a religion. That's a minor point, though, that I don't feel strongly about. Hi SkyWalker, why are you asking if it's a mistake? I am bundling that one with others, to take to AfD. Am I doing something wrong? Let me know! :) Maedin ( talk) 19:16, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
I think that it needs to have the older revision in addition to a brief mention of the alternate ending... the alternate ending was far too detailed. — Erik ( talk • contrib) - 19:16, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi, SkyWalker. Regarding this edit, how do you know that XBox 360 will be one of the consoles for which the game is developed? Do you have a reference for that? Powers T 20:27, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
[1]. I didn't even see that.

No, I did not see it. While I've enjoyed Roland Emmerich's previous films as popcorn flicks, 10,000 BC got a terrible score at Rotten Tomatoes. I check RT for upcoming films and usually agree with the scores, so I didn't see it. Hopefully Emmerich's next one, 2012, will be better. They just started filming recently. — Erik ( talk • contrib) - 11:05, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

I've restored the article. However, it is very likely to be nominated for deletion, since it about a game that hasn't yet been published and about which there doesn't seem to be enough third-party coverage to put together a reasonable article.-- ragesoss ( talk) 06:10, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Hello SkyWalker. I thank you for your note: [2] :) I am happy. However, it is my wish to add real content to the Project as I used to do during first few months of my first year as a Wikipedian. Regards. -- Bhadani ( talk) 15:46, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for reverting the vandalism by User:86.14.252.195 (Talk) on Willem Jan Knoop. He managed to do three reverts in the last 24 hours, so I reported him on the 3-reverts bulletin board. This is my first edit war, so I am not sure I did this right. He is vandalizing other articles also, but as yet not frequently enough, apparently. Meanwhile, I may be in danger of violating the 3-revert rule myself, if I keep reverting him. How do I defend myself?-- Ereunetes ( talk) 20:27, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
The responsibility to add a source is on the person adding the information, not the person deleting it. Per the policy, I can remove anything that is not verified (i.e. no source). It is not my responsibility to place a "citation tag" (that's a courtesy), nor is it to go look for the source. Now, either go add a source to those titles on the "List of" page, or I'll remove it again. "Box art" is not verification of anything, as other games in the past have had "Live" on the box art and that was later rectified. Crysis: Warhead had "Live" on the box art, but from what I read in PC Gamer, it isn't Live. So, again, please add an actual source that verifies it is "Live". I have nominated Near future in video gaming, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Near future in video gaming. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. I have taken out some information on the official release date of the game, and added this correct and accurate information="Its US release date is on November 11th, 2008, as confirmed by GameStop's "new release shipping lists".". I am positively 100% sure this information is correct because I went to my local GameStop retail store and asked to look at a "new release shipping list", which provides all of the new release dates of video games being shipped to GameStop stores for purchase at specific dates. -cdaughertyjr —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cdaughertyjr ( talk • contribs) 09:13, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
man, you crazy! i will stop at nothing until justice is served! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cdaughertyjr ( talk • contribs) 07:01, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
man, that's just great, cause now i've got proof from a shipping list and about 5 different web pages that proves your information is wrong and that the release pushback for the movie won't affect the game's release at all. i'm not gonna even give you the links for proof of my points because you're probably inconsiderate, and don't care about how accurate and how much quality has to go into a Wikipedia page. that's just great that you don't care about the right information, and don't check everywhere for it you can, or in the right places, for that matter. so, if you want millions of people to read the wrong information you put on this page, that's fine with me, i don't care anymore. i have better things to do than quarrel with you. i give up. geez! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cdaughertyjr ( talk • contribs) 07:12, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
no, i was saying there were at least 5 links that i have that support my points and they don't have anything to do with the shipping lists. i just want this to end. and i'm not "blabbering" hahahahahaha! wait, there is nothing on my talk page!
oh, ok then. oh yeah, and i was gonna say that someone vandalized the Need For Speed: Most Wanted page, and for you to fix it, but someone already fixed it, so, =) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cdaughertyjr ( talk • contribs) 07:40, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
yes, it was about like 3-4 days ago, i visited it, and it had the right information, but spam was all over it, and under the title it said "most wanted sucks", or something like that, honest. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cdaughertyjr ( talk • contribs) 07:59, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
Please heed the discussion page of an article before making changes to it, especially changes as significant as reordering the sections. I have a section in the Far Cry 2 article discussion about why I think the sections should be in the order they are, and am welcome to dissenting opinions. I even explicitly stated in my edit summary the last time I reverted your reordering that there is a section on the discussion page to talk about how they should be and why.
Please share your opinions, and for now I am reverting your reordering edit again, as I do believe the original order is the better one. TK-134 ( talk) 05:34, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

The table looks good, but the article still needs quite a bit of work. The references still need correct formatting/important information and some of them are not from reliable sources. I would weed out the less reputable refs and then work on the formatting. I'm glad you're taking this project on! Oldman is too important of an actor to have a so-so wikipedia article. :) María ( habla con migo) 12:12, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
It's nonsense if someone has vandalised the templates but you haven't yet realised that and are still looking into it. -- Rodhull andemu 10:45, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
I'd be happy to, since the Total War series articles need a thorough cleanthrough (Medieval II and Rome are unfortunately getting removed from the next DVD release of Wikipedia because they're not of great quality). I can't put too much work into them immediately though, I'm focusing on getting a few of the B-class articles in my scope through to GA ( Species of StarCraft, Doom 3, Jim Raynor, Chris Metzen) but hopefully that won't take long as the articles shouldn't need much work to pass. I've watch listed Empire: Total War, I'll see what I can do with that - a restructure is definitely in order there, some of the points made are really out of context (for instance, the two sentence paragraph "While in previous Total War titles army movements were restricted to tiles, in Empire: Total War army movement is completely free-form. The game also enables the player to establish taxes separately for nobles, burghers and peasants, and this can have several effects."). As for Company of Heroes, perhaps, but later down the line. -- Sabre ( talk) 16:04, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
I have a complaint to file about a user called user:The Virginian he seems to be rather rude to, and belittles new users on their edits even though he isn't exactly mr perfect when it comes to editing either, when I went to his talk page it redirected me to the Code Geass page, he has a long history of insubordination I was hoping you could possibly deal with him or give him a warning, just thought id ask, since he kinda discourages new userd from editing, thanks.- Deus257 ( talk) 04:35, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi, please don't delete my post entered on to the talk page, or I will report it. Thank you. Green Squares ( talk) 00:10, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
It looks like my link was removed, but I don't see the reason why? What was added is a resource for clips of people performing on the instrument that is the subject of that article. I don't see how that's so much less relevant than a website that tries selling "Videos and flashcards to learn Stradella bass system" later in the list? Or "online accordion advise and shop"? If anything, these should be removed. Not that archive. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.81.23.225 ( talk) 09:59, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Sir,
Could you tell me Please, where i have provide TELEPHONE numbers under subtitle 'where to stay' in the article. I know, there are telephone directory for that purpose, thats why i didn't use that here in the article. This is a big tourist spot and i just wanted to provide the useful details for this concerns to the reader and as much i know, The word ENCYCLOPEDIA means the in and out of anything, please allow me to do so don't revert to the older version.
Yes, i am agreeing about the translation of the word in the various indian languages. i have removed that from the article.
Please allow me.
With thanks and hope for your help. —Preceding signed comment added by Mayankkatiyar ( talk • contribs) 10:41, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Why are you deleting the edits I have made to Mafia II? The article says the game can be released in 2008 or 2009. MOOOOOPS ( talk) 18:09, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
"The publisher revealed that Gearbox Software's Borderlands (PC, PS3, X360) and 2K Czech's Mafia II (PC, PS3, X360) are positioned for release sometime in Take-Two's 2009 fiscal year, which runs from November 1, 2008 through October 31, 2009."
This means the game could be released between November 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008. That is why 2008 must be left on the article. MOOOOOPS ( talk) 21:30, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
The article really needs a lot of work to get to GA (it doesn't even have a Development section) and it's not a game that I'm interested in, so I think I'll pass as I'm currently busy with a few other things. If you ever have a game that comes up then let me know and I'll let you know if it's one I'm interested in, though. You should probably also post a request at WT:VG for some help. Good luck! Please be cautious when using your Wiki Tool ( Twinkle) and undoing edits without researching whether or not it is truly vandalism. This edit that you made to the Angelina Jolie article undid a removal of references that had been discussed on the article's talk page and was not vandalism in the slightest. Thank you.
