First off, welcome to Wikipedia. I appreciate your contributions, but you've gone about them pretty hap-hazardly. In the edits to Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, you added the statistics of the current season despite numerous disclaimers advising you not to do so. This is because editing stats leads to a lot of trouble- by the time a user reads them, they are usually out of date and incorrect. Wikipedia isn't an up-to-date sports database- save the updated stats until the end of the season and/or playoffs.

Second, your addition/removal of material from the Sidney Crosby article was not appropriate. His nickname "Sir Sidney" is fairly well known (particularly because of its use by Mike Lange), and "Darryl" was sourced later in the article. While I understand it's useful to document a player's career as thoroughly as possible, detailing the workout and its results between seasons is a bit too much- imagine if Wayne Gretzky's article went into that much detail! As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia's purpose is to provide an overview of a topic that deals largely with the major aspects. Anyway, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Just add your comment to the bottom of the page, and sign it with four tildes (~~~~). -- Wafulz 05:25, 25 December 2006 (UTC) reply

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Kris Newbury page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Wafulz 21:41, 22 April 2007 (UTC) reply

July 2007

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Dainius Zubrus. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Thank you. Superbeecat 20:11, 3 July 2007 (UTC) reply

now properly sourced. Thank you for your edits. If you look through the edit history, you'll see that there was enough vandalism to cause a temporary block on editing yesterday, so I'm a bit cautious with this article. - Superbeecat 20:25, 3 July 2007 (UTC) reply

A tag has been placed on Chat.mapleleafs.com, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:Chat.mapleleafs.com. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. - WarthogDemon 01:41, 4 July 2007 (UTC) reply

Signatures

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. SUBWAYguy 02:11, 4 July 2007 (UTC) reply

Copyrighted material

Please do not add copyrighted material into articles, such as TSN's scouting reports. Also, don't add the round that a player was drafted- the overall pick is all that is needed.- Wafulz 18:05, 4 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
