Hi, you denied me rights to become a new page reviewer and I totally respect your decision but your reason was based on a recently deleted article of mine where the article was deleted because the Ghana Premier League is being contested whether its a professional league or not /info/en/?search=Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football/Fully_professional_leagues#Ghana_Premier_League. The article was deleted after the GPL was removed from the list of professional leagues. I respect your decision but the article I created had all the notability references needed. Dear Joseph Seddon
Yesterday I spent several hours rewriting a long entry about the Memorial Society in Russia -- /info/en/?search=Memorial_(society). I know the subject well, I read Russian (and lived there for many years). I understand the need for proper references, for retaining what others have added where possible and for explaining the reason for any change.
Imagine my shock today when all yesterday's work (referenced, explained, etc) was reverted by /info/en/?search=User:Robertjamal12 on the spurious grounds that a statement was not properly referenced. I have now restored the text and removed the effects of such vandalism, intended or not.
This note is to make you aware of the problem and the individual concerned. It may be that he has simply not mastered or understood editing procedures and principles.

Legobot will overwrite any changes. You need to edit the template on article talk. ( t · c) buidhe 01:58, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
Hi!
You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.
When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.
Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.
If you have not seen it before, you can read more on Meta. If you want to make sure you don’t miss technical changes on the Wikimedia wikis, you can subscribe to the weekly technical newsletter.
We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. You can let us know on the talk page. You can write in your language. The suggestions were posted in October and we will decide after 17 January.
Thank you. / Johan (WMF)

Hi there, you're receiving this note because you're currently signed up for the 2022 WikiCup and don't yet have any points in the competition. As you may know, scoring any points in the first round is traditionally sufficient to advance to the second, and a fast way to get 5 points is to complete a good article review. Given that the January 2022 Good Article Nomination Backlog Drive is active for another 10 days, you might be interested in pitching in. Complete one review, and you'll be on to the next round in WikiCup; complete two or three, and you'll also be eligible to win some barnstars. As always, quality reviews with attention to detail are expected. Cheers, -- Usernameunique ( talk) 19:40, 22 January 2022 (UTC)

And so ends the first round of the WikiCup. Last year anyone who scored more than zero points moved on to Round 2, but this was not the case this year, and a score of 13 or more was required to proceed. The top scorers in Round 1 were:
These contestants, like all the others who qualified for Round 2, now have to start scoring points again from scratch. Between them, contestants completed reviews of a large number of good articles as the contest ran concurrently with a GAN backlog drive. Well done all! Remember that any content promoted after the end of Round 1 but before the start of Round 2 can be claimed in Round 2. On 15 October 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article The Queue, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that people queued in a queue to queue in The Queue? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Queue. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page ( here's how, The Queue), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
