Thank you, S (usurped also), for your support on my recent RfA, which recently passed 54/1/1. I hope I can live up to everyone's expectations. I will certainly take the constructive criticism I recieved to heart. Please, if you have any comments or complaints about my actions as an administrator, leave a note on my talk page. Thank you again· -- Selket Talk 18:38, 1 May 2007 (UTC) |
Your edit on the Malapropism article was highly irresponsible. Please do not edit, even for typos and misspellings if you haven't read what you are editing.
Your edit, which was of course, marked as minor given that it was supposed to be cleaning up typos, completely changed the meaning of two examples on a list of malapropisms and made them completely non-sensical.
You also recently edited Manjung, also with the edit summary "clean up, Typos fixed". However, changing "comprised of" to "composed of" is not fixing a typo, but changing a word choice.
I understand that you are using AWB, which suggests changes for you. However, you need to carefully read the changes that are being suggested and make sure that your edit summary accurately reflects the work you have done. Adding wikilinking is not fixing typos, nor is it clean-up. Changing one word to another is not a typo fix either, nor is it clean-up.
Please carefully check your edits in the future and please make sure that your edit summaries accurately reflect the work you're doing. Miss Mondegreen talk 17:09, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Thank you very much, my friend, for helping to complete the proposal for deletion of the "papayana" article. I appreciate your help - as I was not entirely sure how to complete the initial stages of the process. Thank you again. Best wishes to you. From Tony. TonyMPNS 17:17, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Thank you so much for your kindness and civility (they are not always in evidence on Wiki, as I am sure you have noticed!). I really appreciate your generous words, and I for one value what you are trying to do to make Wikipedia a better and more respect-worthy enterprise. Thank you again, my friend - and please do give yourself a well-earned rest! Warm wishes to you from London. Yours, Tony. (No need for a reply!). TonyMPNS 17:36, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
The correct templates to use for closing AfD's, as near as I can tell, are {{ subst:at}} and {{ subst:ab}}. Is there another one out there? -- Dennis The Tiger ( Rawr and stuff) 22:46, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Hello, Seed 2.0. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image ( Image:Pulldown.JPG) was found at the following location: User:Seed 2.0/tags. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot) -talk 08:06, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
I don't think the "speedy redirect" thing ever took off. I know that speedy NAC's are generally frowned upon, but in cases like this - where as you said it was essentially a bit-for-bit duplicate - it's essentially impossible to imagine the debate closing any other way than a simple redirect. Waiting for admin closure (or the full 5 days) on something that is so crystal-clear seems silly to me, though I guess you could say I'm being a little bold in doing something that generally is a no-no. When it's highly doubtable that anyone will question the decisions, I like to stick by the idea that if there's an uncontroversial "administrative" task that a non-admin can accomplish, they probably should :) Arkyan • (talk) 18:54, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the Working Man's! You have to admit, that AfD was a gigantic trainwreck, and was all my fault. I guess if mistakes like that can be tolerated by people like you, I've found the right Wikipedia to spend time on. Thanks! ALTON .ıl 02:46, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey, just dropping a line to let you know I've been working on an 'upgrade' to your nice tags script, I'm calling it flexitags and it allows easier customization and addition of multiple namespace specific tabs. Thanks for you work on the original Tags, helped out. Check it out here - User:LilDice/Flexitags Lil' Dice (yeah, I said it!) - talk 13:50, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
I'am not sure if you know this but you actually voted twice on MaxSem's RfA on No.# 16 and 65 and I thought I should bring this up with you so that you can fix the mistake..Cheers..---- Cometstyles 21:28, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Just wanted to say thankyou for trying to get Twinkle fixed for me last night. I've switched back to Voice of All's script which is working fine. It means I don't have the new user warnings but that's not the end of the world, just involves more copy and pasting! I'll try Twinkle periodically as I do really like it but it's no big deal. Thankyou very much for all your help. Happy editing! -- Farosdaughter 21:53, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

You said if I needed your help to just ask, so I will. How do I request an article be undeleted? I figure I could merge all factual information into torpedo, provided it's not already there. If you could tell me how to redirect searches to other pages, I could redirect guided torpedo to torpedo. Thanks and cheers. -- MKnight9989 12:37, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
That would be great if you could help me out with the history-only undeletion. I'd really like to be able to take guided torpedo off of the to-do list, and with your help it might just happen! -- MKnight9989 14:21, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Don't worry about it, it's already been done by someone else. I asked for the tags to be removed because I recently closed the AfD and I had to go so I had to find someone to do it. Thanks for offering the help. -- Yamamoto Ichiro (山本一郎)( 会話) 18:03, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi, and thanks. I say we treat this as a case of great minds, until proven foolish. It's basically an innocent until proven guilty situation. Agreed? CharacterZero | Speak 01:17, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
I decided to add the guided torpedo information to acoustic torpedo, as I thought it would fit better. I took out the opinions and speculations, and added my sources. Cheers mate. -- MKnight9989 12:43, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
I just read your message and I appreciate the support. I would like to learn more about using ref tags, but the wiki on it seemed kinda confusing. Any hints or tips? cheers-- MKnight9989 14:11, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi Seed 2.0. I'd like to thank you for your support of my RfA. It was closed at surprising 75/0/0, so I'm an admin now. MaxSem 21:23, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
I recently tried to write a script based on Tags. My js sucks, so I have no idea why this isn't working. If you get the chance, could you please check out the source code and see if you can spot any problems? Thanks. G1 gg y ! 02:29, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
As of now, the tags script prevents the wikiEd script from functioning. Could you please follow the instructions here to fix this problem? Both are great scripts and I'd like to be able to use both simultaneously. Thanks! - Billy227, review my account!! talk contribs sndbx usbx 18:04, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Dear Seed 2.0 You said that my posting about Paulo on Lost was vandalism. No, the article mentions that one journalist referred to Paulo as "Paulo Poops A Lot" due to the scene where he came out of the bathroom the one time they found a place that had one. What I added was that Paulo was referred to as Take A Shit Guy or TASG by more than just one journalist, in fact, he was called that by both admins on Aint It Cool.com ( http://www.aintitcool.com/node/31869) as well as "talkbackers" ( http://www.aintitcool.com/talkback_display/32065#comment_1448209) I had also seen him called by that name by posters on Television Without Pity. ( http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?s=&showtopic=3152463&view=findpost&p=7484191) ( http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?showtopic=3144195&pid=7489024&st=60&#entry7489024) So, I felt that the TASG name was worth adding as far more people than just one journalist called him that. Actually, the TASG name was used by more people, and probably should replace Paulo Poops A Lot due to frequency of use. Therefore, my post was not "vandalism" but an addition of a funny factoid about a much hated character. P.S. Sorry, but I had a bit of trouble posting this correctly, but I didn't change anything, I just moved this to where it belongs.
