Hello Rossoh, thanks for taking an interest in the Dorset article. Unfortunately I have felt the need to revert your edits because the 741mm of rainfall refers to the average across Dorset and the 730mm quoted is from the Weymouth weather station. Your second edit, which refers to Portland as a tied island is disputed because tied islands are connected by tombolos and it is now thought that Chesil is a Barrier beach. The Dorset article is a Featured article and therefore particular care needs to be taken as to what changes are made to it. Sometimes it is a good idea to initiate a discussion on the talk page if you have a disagreement. I hope you enjoy being a Wikipedian and stick around. Sometimes you will need broad shoulders but most of the time it is fun. Best regards-- Ykraps ( talk) 10:01, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
With reference to your recent revert of my edit to the Chesil Cove article, you have misread the WP:MOSNUM guidelines. Under heading "Which units to use", you will see that imp measurements should be used first and then metric conversion. The Weymouth article should also follow this guideline. As far as I am aware, no road signs or maps in the UK quote metric first. Before you revert please check exactly what WP:MOSNUM reads. Thank you, David J Johnson ( talk) 14:14, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
Can you give me a reason why you reverted the neutral term 'public promotion of LGBT issues' and added the liberally biased term 'Pride parade'? The term 'Pride parade' is not a WP:NPOV. – Plarem ( User talk) 09:58, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
