I wish you a Happy New Year for 2013 :-) AARON• TALK 09:31, 1 January 2013 (UTC) |
Hope you have joyous, happy 2013 as well! — Robin (talk) 16:08, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
On 1 January 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Kiss You (One Direction song), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that One Direction band member Louis Tomlinson thinks that their video for their new song " Kiss You" is "pure stupidity"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kiss You (One Direction song). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Happy new year! I hope you're having a great time Robin. You're a great asset to the 'pedia and a good friend. Cheers. — ΛΧΣ 21 18:58, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
The article Moments (One Direction song) that you put up for good article nomination has been put on hold . There are some prose and reference formatting issues that are keeping the article from reaching good article status. You will have the general seven days to address these issues and/or debate the points you believe do not concern good article status. See this for more information on what needs to be fixed. Hi, ¿Robin? ¿New nickname? Happy New Year. I came to greet and tell you that "Little Things" probably will be GA in the Spanish Wikipedia. So, Take Me Home and "Live While We're Young" are nominated to featured article's. And... It's all. Have a nice day. Bye! Biagio2103 ( talk) 13:27, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
Hey Robin. Hey I wanted to continue the "Robin" section by User:Yash! that you archived. Once again, can I please continue? Thanks, (talkback please on my talk page when you reply.) by CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 10:30, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

Robin, can I ask you to please delete the Oliver Kieran-Jones page?
As a general rule, I don't think it's useful to have a redirect of an actor to one of the shows he's been on, and in this case Oliver isn't even mentioned in that article (and isn't important enough to the show to have been so). Also, he's credited as "Oliver Kieran Jones" on Glee, without the hyphen, which helps confuse matters.
It's easy to delete a page you have created: just add the {{db-self}} template to the top of the article's page, and it will be deleted. Many thanks. BlueMoonset ( talk) 03:37, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

I do not believe that I have awarded you a barnstar yet for your amazing contributions... shame on me! I award you this, original barnstar, for your great work on One Direction articles! I must say, I usually get annoyed and hate on the - I don't know what to call it, but people like them - but for a change, I don't. It's great to see someone fighting against the overzealous fans who try to use Wiki as a fansite for them! I think that every artist(s) should have an editor (or editors) who devote their time in keeping their articles accurate, well written and free of vandals, inflation (or deflation - *sighs* at the haters), among other things. I know that it's sometimes frustrating when always dealing with the same type of article all the type (I know this first hand), but just know that you are appreciated for all your hard work! Keep it up buddy! P.S. Call me Zach. Without the "h" was a phase. — Statυs ( talk, contribs) 03:30, 9 February 2013 (UTC) |
Hey there :) This is about the 1d main article. I'd changed the pictures of the One Direction members yesterday but you undid it saying it wasn't really needed. Sure, they haven't changed one bit, but they're a bit more recent (just by a few months though) and I think they're an improvement to the current ones, I don't think those pictures do them any justice at all! Since they're in the commons anyway it wouldn't hurt to change them, right? Those pictures of them have been on the article as long as I remember. I'm a newbie so I'm not really sure about the rules or anything, I just think it makes for a better article. What say you? Cheers! GinaJay ( talk) 12:59, 11 February 2013 (UTC)
Hi, congratulations for your work on Garfield's biography. However, I have a small suggestion. Please ensure that the year in which a particular film has released, is mentioned in the lead. Cheers. :) -- smarojit (buzz me) 18:48, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Diva Knockouts 03:23, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
Do you want me to remove 'so far' or only add the date of publication? It was published in December 2012, but in a year or two opinions might change on the subject that's why something like 'so far' is necessary. I removed it from several articles until I saw this sentence "Reviewing musical performances in the series so far on October 21, 2009, Denise Martin for the Los Angeles Times rated "Hate On Me" the fourth best performance to date" in Throwdown (Glee). Do you want me to use that kind of sentence? -- Sofffie7 ( talk) 19:36, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
Hi Robin, I've noticed your contributions on 1D song articles - great work! Agreed, I will source the magazines with secondary sources. Thank you for adding info about Blaine in the music section - it was sorely lacking. Where does it state "the lead should only cite the US' main single chart"? Just wondering. Mimi C. ( talk) 02:44, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
My biggest struggle when editing Wikipedia articles is trying to make them concise yet be informative at the same time. There's definitely a fine line! :-) Mimi C. ( talk) 04:24, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
Are you really reverting edits based in part -- in fact, as your first gravamen in your complaint -- that they contain a spelling error? Rather than fixing the error? That's, mildly speaking, not a reason for a reversion.
And your initial reason for your first reversion was similarly surprising. You don't think religion is part of one's personal life in such cases? And you also, rather than finding a better section for it, simply reverted. That also may be felt to be something short of the collaborative spirit to which we aspire.-- Epeefleche ( talk) 22:57, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
Job well done on the opening summary! I was having trouble narrowing it down to 3 paragraphs, but you made it work :) Mimi C. ( talk) 23:25, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
hi Robin. Just wanted to give you the heads up that the IP you talked to in late April about editing One Direction's discography page has been changing "boy band" to "rock band" again. I'll change it back to "boy band" again but would appreciate your help in dealing with this IP if you have the time. Thanks JayJ47 ( talk) 05:18, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello! Now, some of you might have already received a similar message a little while ago regarding the Recruitment Centre, so if you have, there is no need to read the rest of this. This message is directed to users who have reviewed over 15 Good article nominations and are not part of
WikiProject Good articles (the first message I sent out went to only WikiProject members).
So for those who haven't heard about the Recruitment Centre yet, you may be wondering why there is a Good article icon with a bunch of stars around it (to the right). The answer? WikiProject Good articles will be launching a Recruitment Centre very soon! The centre will allow all users to be taught how to review Good article nominations by experts just like you! However, in order for the Recruitment Centre to open in the first place, we need some volunteers:
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to seeing this program bring new reviewers to the Good article community and all the positive things it will bring along. A message will be sent out to all recruiters regarding the date when the Recruitment Centre will open when it is determined. The message will also contain some further details to clarify things that may be a bit confusing.-- Dom497 ( talk) This message was sent out by -- EdwardsBot ( talk) 14:46, 9 June 2013 (UTC) |
Hi Robin. I've added a brief message on the review page of course, but I just wanted to say thanks again for reviewing this song article. It looks like List of songs in Glee (season 1) has just been promoted; The Rambling Man has deleted it from the FLC page along with four others as part of an edit that has a "pr 5" (promoted 5) edit summary. Well done! It may take a little while for the bot to finish its work, but once it does, I think you should have the honor of updating the various Glee task force pages with the second featured list we have. (I can, if you'd rather, but it's your call.) Thanks again for doing such excellent work and pursuing this promotion. BlueMoonset ( talk) 17:35, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
