Hi, here are the details of the MRR annotated bibliography assignment...
Good Wikipedia articles are built on a foundation of good sources. In this respect, Wikipedia articles are not much different from academic essays. In fact, if anything a good Wikipedia article is more reliant on good sources than are other academic or scholarly texts. The whole notion of verifiability, which is the first of the encyclopedia's five pillars, depends upon reliable sources.
The aim of this bibliography assignment, then, is to identify, read, and comment on the most important and reliable sources that relate to the topic of your chosen article.
In coordination with your group, you need to do the following:
To coordinate with the other members of your group (whose names you can find here), use their talk pages. Each time that you log in to Wikipedia, you will notice that if you have a message waiting for you, there will be a yellow banner at the top of the page.
Good luck! -- jbmurray ( talk • contribs) 23:09, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Hello Alana,
Tessa here. It looks like you have found a lot of articles! We should start looking through them to see what we can use and what we can't. For example, articles written on his literature will only take us so far because we are writing about the author and his life/accomplishments/etc and not so much about how people have interpreted his works. I think it would be really useful for us to take a look at the article and see what it is lacking so we know what we're looking for and where we might find it. Maybe we should all get together after class and create a plan of action. See you in class on friday,

Hey Alana,
I noticed that a lot of words have been wiki-linked in the article (internal linking to another article in wikipedia). you are only supposed to do this the first time the word appears in the article and then never again. check out the discussion page on asturias at the bottom and you'll see a link to some info about it.
Also, I noticed that the summaries on each of his major works need to be reworded/rewritten because there is hidden criticism (that you can only see when editing) that asks questions about citations and meaning of words etc. if you have time, a little clean up would be help a lot.
