Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Should I be using citations from local news sources versus partisan websites? Notability is not an issue. I'm new to wikipedia so any pointers on how to improve this page would be welcome. Irene Adler ( talk) 10:37, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi, thank you so much for protecting the Miss Asia Pacific World 2011 page. I felt dizzy recently because some IP addresses made a big mess in that page. I have corrected the placements, but they kept changing my edits.
Thanks and please for your help. :) DeshintaChandra ( talk) 10:08, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
Hi, the IP address keep vandalizing the Miss Asia Pacific World 2011 page, please help me to protect the page, thanks. DeshintaChandra ( talk) 15:50, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
This guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Al_Lemos, thinks he is the owner of the article Partido da Imprensa Golpista. Mr. Lemos spend months doing almost no editing, but if someone move this article, it reverses at the same time. He is just "Gatekeeping" some articles at Wiki-en, by persona interests. 186.205.17.133 ( talk) 13:40, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
Could you please comment more at User Talk:Rcsprinter123#Blocked? I've raised some more concerns about what seem to me to be a disturbing overall pattern. I chose this talk page because it was the one you used most recently on Rcsprinter123's talk page, though you also used your WMF account as well, so whichever is appropriate to "answer" this concern is fine. Hi Philippe,
The central notice currently running - http://meta.wikimedia.org/?title=Special:CentralNotice&method=listNoticeDetail¬ice=Harvard+Sciences+Po - appears to be an advert for two non-wikimedia organizations. Can it be taken down please? Thanks -- Fæ ( talk) 23:23, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi. I notice you protected a page against vandalism by an IP editor today. Could you please undo the damage also made today at Opus Dei by the same IP editor? I've reverted a couple of times, but didn't want to keep reverting indefinitely. Thanks. GFHandel ♬ 00:44, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
I'm curious as to why you felt it necessary to courtesy blank the userspace for User:Scheunemann.joshua. According to policy on courtesy blanking, it is only to be done "under rare circumstances rare circumstances, where discussion may cause harm to some person or organisation...Courtesy blanking, history blanking or oversighting should be rare, and should be performed only after due consideration." I'm wondering under which of these conditions you feel userspace courtesy blanking in this case makes it appropriate/necessary. Thanks, ( talk→ LesHB ←track) 21:13, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi Philippe, may I ask your intervention to the edits by user User_talk:96.247.228.104? The guy has violated WP:nPOV, WP:ALSO, WP:STYLE..; he reverted my repairing twice in less than 24 hours, and he is mocking the orientation given at Revision history (he has repeated there what was justified to him). More specifically the guy it is trying to impose what he regards important to him (POV), so he is eliminating related links (plain and peripheral links related to the theme added by other users) in “See also” of “Psychedelic experience”, and adding doubtful links (“Superintelligence?, Collective intelligence?). Thank you for your attention. Academictask ( talk) 11:36, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
It was a fairly jackass move to go around spamming people with barnstars using AWB. Please don't ever do that again. -- MZMcBride ( talk) 22:08, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the barn star. It was very pleasant to express my opinion of this particular BS issue. I did contact my representative with limited hope that it helps. -- Theda 21:19, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I am involved with a research project for Michigan State University and am wondering if you would be able to answer a few questions regarding tool sets on Wikipedia. What were the tools you mainly used prior to becoming an admin, and after becoming an admin? Here is a link to the project if you are interested Wikipedia:United States Education Program/Courses/Wiki-Project Management (Jonathan Obar) , and if you have any questions please let me know. I was just figuring out my itinerary for Wikimania and spotted this one. I guess I was wrong to think COI wouldn't be covered at all at the conference ;-)
Although it's probably difficult for you to have a specific position as a WMF employee, I also thought you might be interested in some of the following efforts:
There's also quite a few editors interested in the subject of COI, who have been having exhaustive conversations on it. I'm hopeful progress is being made, though I suspect only between us and not necessarily with the broader community. It's a starting point. User:King4057 ( EthicalWiki) 17:08, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

Wikipedia_talk:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Fæ/Proposed_decision#Statement – Can you please examine this statement? There's a lot of confusion. I'm confused, and the enwiki community is confused. -- Michaeldsuarez ( talk) 20:38, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
Hi Philippe,
As you are aware I emailed you with a draft of my statement for Arbcom more than 24 hours ago, copying it to Jon Davies, the Wikimedia UK Chief Executive. Arbcom are treating my statement as a lie based on evidence they have seen but I have not. My statement can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Arbitration/Requests/Case/F%C3%A6/Proposed_decision#Statement. I later copied that email to all the members of the Wikimedia UK board for their information. You have not replied to that email and you have not objected to it or its factual accuracy.
In this statement I state that: "During our informal conversation, Philippe suggested that he might try to help by having a personal discussion with Risker, one of the Arbitrators active on my case, who happened to be at Wikimania. I asked that he not do that... Philippe reassured me that his conversation with Risker would only proceed if there was a clear understanding that the discussion would stay confidential and the matter would go no further if it was not productive. I capitulated on that basis. I have no idea if the meeting between Risker and Philippe went ahead or if there were other meetings."
Could you please confirm that this is a perfectly factual statement about our conversation and not a lie, as Arbcom seem to believe. Thanks -- Fæ ( talk) 21:56, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
An Arbcom member has apparently accused Fae of lying in his statement to the committee concerning his discussion with you, apparently based on information provided by you. Is he lying? Alanscottwalker ( talk) 15:31, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi there. I saw that you were the admin that closed the deletion discussion for this article, and I was wondering if you could send me a userfied copy of it. I'm pretty sure I will be able to put together enough material to get it over the WP:GNG threshold, but it would be a huge help to see what was already in the article to work with. Thanks! — Torchiest talk edits 01:02, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
