Request
I request u to revert the removal my valid edits at
Seuna_yadavas_of_devagiri since Google books are allowed as citations on wikipedia. A certain user is insulting Marathi history and pushing kannada stuff in our articles.Plz find the details on talk page and history.
Plz do so. whatever i have done on yadavs page was according to wikipedia rules and norms. Yet the article isnt available for edition for me. Mr.Kannambadi with his Marathi-hatred has jeopardized the article. I have worked very hard to get the books and sources.
Vishu123 06:54, 31 December 2006 (UTC)reply
I am waiting for ur help. Dont we have more Marathi guys here who are intrested in history? Few editors are deliberately destroying Marathi history artciles and inserting their language nonsense. yadavas the pure Marathi empire is one of them. On top of it my cited info is shamelessly removed. Its like 'aaple te baal dusryache te karta'.
Vishu123 19:19, 2 January 2007 (UTC)reply
see this where Mr.Kannambadi shamelessly insults yadavas and if any sane person reads it will understand that here Kannambadi is agreeing that yadavas were Marathis and suddenly he gets down and adds kannada nonsense their.

It is pity that it is only me who's fighting against Mr.Kannambadi's insult of Maharashtra history. As a Marathi person u should had supported me against him especially when i am talking sense and true. Arent Yadavas of Devagiri our ancestors? If they are kannadiga so are you and me. After spending horus in library looking for books and spending fee hundred rupees all what i have got is insults and ill-comments from Mr.kannambadi and his allias. Still none of Marathi editors are aware of dubious partisan and one-sided books of Mr.Kannambadi. Why is he pampared even if he has a deep hatred against Maharashtrians and he himself has
agreed that Yadavas are marathi also see this
this.
In the
Ganagas page he is removing the Shravanbelagola Marathi inscription by giving hillarious explaination of it is already on other page? So why should be on this relevant page? He deleted everything i added in rashtrakutas chalukyas yadavas by imagining that Google books and marathi books are not allowed. I even presented the links to prove that they are allowed and result is i am blocked! Still no one is taking note of his blatant kannada terrorism across the history articles of wikipedia. For instance go to any page made by him and serach for word 'kannada.
I am almost thrown out out of all articles by various blocks, silence of marathi editors and inaction by concerned seniors. I have done my duty of trying my best. I have not taken the 'theka' of defending these articles. It is getting on my nerves. I am going to throw my books to kabadi because of these kannambadis in wikipedia. rememebr it is our ignorance which is enabling such kannambadis to ruin our articles.

Project tagging:After a brief edit war over the addition of {{WP India}} to ancient archaeological sites now located in
Pakistan, a "pre" parameter was introduced to remove the ROI flag from the template for pre-1947 articles, following
discussion. After another large
discussion on ANI alleging that the automated tagging by
Ganeshbot and
LostBot was "nationalistic", Ganeshbot was briefly blocked. Currently, the bots are again in action.
What is India?:Recently, there have been ongoing discussions
here which discuss the stated issue of "India" the historical region is different from the
Republic of India. It consisted also of modern
Pakistan and
Bangladesh, but a search for "India" automatically redirects to the Republic of India. Should there not be a clarification? . This comes in light of clashes on articles such as
Panini,
Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar,
Muhammad Iqbal and
Muhammad Ali Jinnah, regarding the status of the individuals.
Swastika on Hinduism templates:Recently, an extremely large and at times emotional
debate broke out regarding the use of the
swastika on
Hinduism templates, given its association with
Nazism. As a result, {{Hindu Links}} now contains an educational message about the use of the swastika, as discussion on a more permanent resolution continues.

Rock music Wikiproject invitation
Hello
WikiProject Metal member. WikiProject Metal music is important in expanding encyclopedic coverage of the metal. It brings attention to the lesser-known bands, and significantly improves the quality of the famous ones. Five Featured articles and two formers is proof of that.
This is the stuff I wish to achieve with the somewhat recently resurrected WikiProject Rock music. I hope to also attract attention to
rock music articles of all sorts, and hopefully change some to GA or FA status. I invite you to come join us, and embrace the links between metal and rock music in general. Rock on. -- Reaper X 04:57, 18 February 2007 (UTC)reply

Jimbo's visit to India and the WikiCamp in
Chennai: Jimbo recently visited
India in late February and early March on wiki work. This included a trip to a WikiCamp in
Chennai. The one day conference attracted 300 participants from across India and beyond dealt with issues facing wikis (
[5]). It was widely covered by the press, eg
The Hindu(
[6]), which cited the efforts of
Bhadani (edit count),
Sundar (leadership on
Tamil Wikipedia) and
Ganeshk (Creation of
Ganeshbot to create articles on Indian towns from census figures). Ganeshk himself travelled from
California to attend the conference.
Wikipedia Weekly 15: Wikipedia Weekly, a informal Wikipedians' program that purports to give "A weekly audio roundup of Wikipedia happenings with news, interviews and roundtable discussions" recently interviewed two prominent editors
Rama's Arrow and
Ragib(
listen). The entire 34 minute interview was entirely about the world of Indian subcontinent wiki-happenings, and was the first episode which was not entirely dominated by discussion of wiki-politics and wiki-bureaucracy, with the host
Witty lama praising the efficiency of the project and its proliferation of
featuredcontent. Rama's Arrow cited the team spirit, friendship and respect among project members in discussing its success and FA productivity, as well as discussing subcontinental wiki-conflict. Ragib talked also of his public campaign to raise awareness of the
Bengali Wikipedia in his native
Bangladesh, which has seen a 30-fold increase in article count over the past year.
Arbitration: Three cases are either in progress or have recently ended.
