Wow that was spooky! I was just feeling my way around my new account and up popped an orange line informing me that I had your message! Thanks for the warm welcome! It was as if you were witing for me to log in - cool! You'll have to teach me how to do that to new users! Mr Brickolage ( talk) 15:36, 23 May 2012 (UTC) reply
Yes, your new account. I was just following up on something from last night (a disruptive user, User:Dag's donglies) and saw you too. I thought I would stop by and say hello. TN X Man 15:47, 23 May 2012 (UTC) reply
Cool. Is there a monitor somewhere showing who's on, and when people log on and log off? Mr Brickolage ( talk) 15:53, 23 May 2012 (UTC) reply
I guess you must be busy meeting and greeting others (roughly how many new users join per day?), and I've got to go now, but I'll probably be back on later. I will be interested to know how I can watch who's coming and going like that! Mr Brickolage ( talk) 16:09, 23 May 2012 (UTC) reply

Welcome to Wikipedia: check out the Teahouse!

Hello! Mr Brickolage, you are invited to the Teahouse, a forum on Wikipedia for new editors to ask questions about editing Wikipedia, and get support from peers and experienced editors. Please join us! heather walls ( talk) 01:57, 25 May 2012 (UTC) reply
Another warm welcome! Thanks for that Heather! As I'm still waiting for Tnxman (my first greeter) to answer my questions above and on their talk page, I'll be right across to the teahouse! Mr Brickolage ( talk) 07:50, 25 May 2012 (UTC) reply
The teahouse "Ask a question right now" button doesn't seem to work. I tried twice, filling in the form and clicking the "Ask my question" button (yes I added the four squiggles to sign it), but got no confirmation or rejection message, and don't see either of my questions on the list.
