You're mentoring users for copyediting. & that's totally my area. I noticed you love horses & so do I. It's kinda hard to find horse-lovers. So we kinda have something in common. Also, i've been looking forever for someone to adopt me in the Adopt-a-user program & I don't think you're a part of it. But, you're the only suitable user for me so far. So, even though you're not part of the program would you be willing to "adopt" me too? You really don't have to & don't feel obligated to say yes, just let me know. You can check out my userpage here and you can drop me a note here. Again thanks! Lopezjaylo98 ( talk) 18:56, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

Guild of Copy Editors
September 2012 backlog elimination drive wrap-up
Participation: Out of 41 people who signed up this drive, 28 copy-edited at least one article. Thanks to all who participated! Final results, including barnstars awarded, are available here. Progress report: We achieved our primary goal of clearing July, August, September and October 2011 from the backlog. This means that, for the first time since the drives began, the backlog is less than a year. At least 677 tagged articles were copy edited, although 365 new ones were added during the month. The total backlog at the end of the month was 2341 articles, down from 8323 when we started out over two years ago. We completed all 54 requests outstanding before September 2012 as well as eight of those made in September. Copy Edit of the Month: Voting is now over for the August 2012 competition, and prizes will be issued soon. The September 2012 contest is closed for submissions and open for voting. The October 2012 contest is now open for submissions. Everyone is welcome to submit entries and to vote. – Your drive coordinators: Stfg, Allens, and Torchiest. Hi Miniapolis, thanks for your remarks. I put an answer and questions on my talk page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Mljmeerman Basically I need some advise on what to include as references, as I hardly have any! Rgds Michael Mljmeerman ( talk) 16:59, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
Hello. You recently approved The Last Weekend (British series) at AFC. However, the plot section was actually copied from the series's introduction, presumably written by the production company, as seen here. Please be careful to review AFC drafts for copyright violations in the future--it's an issue particularly because so many of them are promotional, and often contain content copied straight from a company's website. Thanks. wctaiwan ( talk) 03:02, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
Dear Miniapolis,
Thanks for your time for reviewing my article.
coming straight to the point, i have done every thing to authenticate the article facts. Mentioned all possible sources, but still my article is being rejected.
I am not able to understand your review. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vikassharma2512 ( talk • contribs) 05:15, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Miniapolis, Can you please help me understand why my article is again declined. I added newspaper references and upon reading the guidelines for notable Basketball Players...there were 3 catergories, and he fell under 1 of them.

WP:Writing better articles has good general information. If you rewrite the article from a neutral, encyclopedic point of view and use inline citations to indicate notability and verify any claims made, it will stand a better chance. All the best, Miniapolis ( talk) 16:09, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
Miniapolis,
Thanks so much for your feed back. I will thoroughly read the guidelines and make changes to my article and site it correctly. If you don't mind, I will send it to you for a quick review so you can tell me what you think.
Thanks (Iknowball 08:02, 16 October 2012 (UTC))

Hey all :).
We're (very shortly) closing down this development cycle for Page Curation. It's genuinely been a pleasure to talk with you all and build software that is so close to my own heart, and also so effective. The current backlog is 9 days, and I've never seen it that low before.
However! Closing up shop does not mean not making any improvements. First-off, this is your last chance to give us a poke about unresolved bugs or report new ones on the talkpage. If something's going wrong, we want to know about it :). Second, we'll hopefully be taking another pass over the software next year. If you've got ideas for features Page Curation doesn't currently have, stick them here.
Again, it's been an honour. Thanks :). Okeyes (WMF) ( talk) 12:31, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi Mineapolis, I made quite a few changes. Would you mind having a look? thnks Mljmeerman ( talk) 15:39, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

Greetings Miniapolis. This article of mine was declined by you on 15th Oct. 2012. I have since added citations to reliable secondary/tertiary sources and thus established the notability of the book, Brihat Jataka. Please do not tell me that you don’t re-review the article you have once reviewed. Regards. Soni Ruchi ( talk) 02:59, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
