Your recent edit to the Lake Urmia article deleted a large chunk of text supported by about 15 references. This Wikipedia policy specifically identifies your actions as disruptive. If you feel this section of the Lake Urmia article is biased there are other more constructive ways to handle this than to simply delete the text. I see you've been warned about edit warring multiple times already. It would be great if you could work towards a better, unbiased encyclopedia, rather than damaging what already exists. I noticed your valuable efforts expanding the Kashf-e hijab article. You've used various scholarly works in your edits and that's an important point. Btw, the article was eligible to be nominated for WP:DYK as it had got five fold by you and I did the nomination. I can change the hook if you have any suggestions. Thanks. Hello, MehrdadFR. Kashf-e hijab, an article you either created or significantly contributed to, has been nominated to appear on Wikipedia's Main Page as part of Did you know . You can see the hook and the discussion here. You are welcome to participate! Thank you. APersonBot ( talk!) 16:10, 8 January 2016 (UTC) |
I've already blocked User:Chronus for edit warring at Discrimination against atheists; if you edit that article again without discussing it on the article talk page, the same will happen to you. --jpgordon ::==( o ) 21:23, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
On 26 January 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Kashf-e hijab, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that many Iranian women chose not leave their houses, and a few even committed suicide, to avoid removing their hijabs due to Reza Shah's Kashf-e hijab decree? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kashf-e hijab. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Please try not to revert editors repeatedly as I've seen you do on a few pages. I commend you on trying to bring new sources in this edit of yours but you also should have tried to leave in much, if not all, of the sourced text that you removed in that edit. If you continue to edit war at United Against Nuclear Iran you may find yourself blocked again. Sepsis II ( talk) 01:57, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
