Happy editing!
I noticed your very substantial expansion of the
Western Gerygone article. If you can indicate what your sources were we can add to the references, without them it is likely to be flagged as problematic, perhaps deleted. It is no trouble for me to make these changes, preserving your efforts is more than worthwhile. Cheers, ~

Hello! Thanks for noticing my article. It has taken me all day to get the text body up there and get used to editing and refining it. My plan is to finish it tomorrow, including all of the references. Should be done by tomorrow night.

It is really good, I like what you have thought to include and the style is good :) I can give a copyedit if needed, the only thing I saw is the use of curly quotation marks (see
Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Quotation characters). ~

Pseudogerygone jacksoni = Gerygone fusca exsul, I like B&W but there may be a better image around. ~

Thanks! I was able to confirm this old name in the Eponym Dictionary of Birds. haven't come across it anywhere else. That nest photo is useful. I have been asking around but can't find any elsewhere. This is a university assignement which is due in 1 week. Until then, I'd better not get too much help!

I think I'm done and I think I like it! Only one question. Is it a problem if I don't enter the doi numbers in my references? I only discovered what a doi was when I'd finished them all. It would have made things much easier than entering them all manually but now that I've done them, should I go back and find all the doi numbers ???

Oops! Just realized that you had made some changes to it which I had accidentally gone back and undone. I'm sure your corrections are appropriate but I'm not familiar enough with how this works to go back and find them. Thanks for your interest and input. It is much appreciated.

I think I like it too, you are a quick learner :) I recall I added a link to Garden Island, but it is simple enough to check if there is anything else; I intended to stand back until you were done doing good. The DOI provides a link, but you have used a
URL that does the same; I may be able to get those inserted with a tool. I use DOIs to fill templates with a gadget here, it is possible to use URLs to that as well, and assume leaving them in the ref is useful. The obscure epithet problem (extra credit in your mark?) could also have been resolved at
Jobling's key as well, but the synonymy for Australian animal taxa can usually seen at
biodiversity.org.au. The epithet jacksoni was for the photographer I mentioned. The thanks go to you. ~

Discovering some of the online resources that are out there has been the most useful part of this assignment. I wondered about mentioning some of the older scientific names for genus and species. One of the things we are marked on is being concise and I am already way over the suggested word limit! I guess, after its marked, it can be as long as anyone wants it to be. Wikipedia is amazing and its incredible to see how many people there are out there like you who are working away at it. Thanks again.
