Hi! Quick question. Why are you shortening the league name when editing? The general manual of style is to have it as Major League Soccer, USL Championship, or USL League One. It doesn't make sense to lessen it unless you do something like " Major League Soccer (MLS)" and then use MLS from there. We also have two USL leagues so why shorten to just USL? - I mean, there are multiple "MLS", including the one that owns www.mls.com. It's better for readers, especially those who are not familiar or new to US Soccer, to see it in full. -- ArsenalFan700 ( talk) 18:58, 30 May 2021 (UTC)

As much as I and the rest of the Wikipedia community appreciate the intent of your recent updates to
Liga MX squad lists and players, please remember that with each update you need to provide a source in the
edit summary and update the squad date. Otherwise, other editors will not know if your edits are correct and timely. Additionally, a player's international stats should not be included in the main infobox if they have not appeared for the nation, as you have done with
Santiago Ormeño, who has not yet played for Peru. Declaring for a nation and even being called up by that nation does not give the player any stats. Once they have appeared for the nation, feel free to include the national team and caps/goals in the infobox along with the date of update.

edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks!
